Now Hillsborough County has cellular trail cameras watching people inside a taxpayer-funded nature preserve.
The cameras aren’t there for wildlife.
The same preserve is being heavily sprayed with glyphosate.

Instead of investigating this troubling footage, the Department of Agriculture’s law enforcement arm trespassed the whistleblower/concerned citizen who uploaded it.
The reason given? Multiple complaints had reportedly been filed against their office.
The officer who showed up at the 50-year-old woman’s home to deliver the trespass warning was asked if he had ever felt intimidated by her.
His answer?
“No, ma’am.”
A lawsuit has now been filed against the Florida Forest Service.
Perhaps @WiltonSimpson or @MearKat00 will address this troubling situation.

Florida’s surveillance problem keeps getting harder to explain.
Oviedo: fake Flock cameras were installed without the mayor knowing.
Pasco: a commissioner admitted she hadn’t read the license-plate-reader contract, then defended it against concerns about warrantless mass surveillance.
Manatee County: the sheriff said there’s “a lot of misinformation” surrounding Flock cameras. Interestingly, Flock CEO @glangley has also used the misinformation line in an NBC interview.
Okaloosa County: Langley emailed the sheriff’s department claiming activists were trying to “weaponize” public-records requests.
Yet politicians and Flock’s CEO still can’t figure out why people don’t trust license plate readers.
