What if we stopped trying to predict the future of medicine and started thinking about how to shape it? I recently spoke with JMIR Publications about medical futures studies, the methods that can help healthcare leaders prepare for change, and why thinking ahead matters more than ever. Thanks to the JMIR team for the opportunity to discuss this growing field! Read the full interview: blog.jmir.org/beyond-predict…

just set this up, crazy usecases I've found, and now i can have all my docs/artifacts at one place, accesible anywhere ik claude/instinct/dia they all do this, but having 100% control is just great, pairs well with my hermes setup too

Change the Vol midway, Ai can't do that.... Dekhte jao, vo kya nahi kar sakta, u will get to know... As I asked recently, show me a Robot who can work in a Lab without anyone prompting it and discover a new Drug... On its own.... Ai can think, right? Super intelligent? Show me that first...
NOBEL WINNER SAYS AI WON'T REPLACE SCIENTISTS ANYTIME SOON jennifer doudna won the 2020 chemistry Nobel for CRISPR, and this summer her lab used AI to design new gene editors. so she's not someone you'd expect to say this her reason is surprisingly small: a grad student can decide mid-experiment to double a volume or handle a sample differently, and just do it. for a robot, the same change takes a lot of work, and she says she's watched that happen in her own lab i think she's pointing at something bigger than science. we keep measuring AI by how smart it is, but most real work looks like her grad student: a plan that breaks halfway, and someone fixing it on the spot so here's a quick test for your own job. how often does your plan change halfway through because of something only you can see in the room? the work that stays human is the work where the plan keeps breaking

Holy! Odyssey says it has connected a simulated fruit fly brain to an AI-generated world, allowing it to navigate an environment that never existed. It’s a glimpse of what entering simulated worlds could one day mean for us. I’m not exaggerating when I say that in the very near future we as humans will also enter virtual world by connecting our brains to the cloud. Neuralink shows the path clearly.
We placed the fruit fly brain inside Odyssey-3, a frontier world model. The lil’ guy is now flying around totally imagined, simulated worlds all by itself 🫶

We're being thrown into some unacceptable dystopia.
Anthropic is warning that AI can cause human extinction, while proposing legislation that effectively says: "We should let the labs decide what counts as safe"

I’ve never seen a product unveil come close to what Tesla pulled off with the new Roadster last night. Elon was right. It was the greatest product unveil we’ve ever witnessed. Nine years of anticipation, and somehow Tesla delivered something even crazier than we imagined. I was there in person, and I still can’t believe what I saw. Nothing comes close.

PLEASE SHARE - BREAST CANCER PSA: AI + Doctors Interesting fact: insurance cover breast screenings AFTER 40, but lots of diagnoses come before then; in this clinic, 39% of patients diagnosed with breast cancer have been under 40 years old. And the USPSTF, a leading authority on preventive care, lowered its recommended starting age for routine mammograms from 50 to 40 just TWO years ago. At Eve Wellness in the Bay Area, they use doctors + AI: GE HealthCare’s Invenia ABUS, an automated 3D ultrasound, with QView’s QVCAD AI to flag areas for physician review. The scan uses sound waves, with no ionizing radiation. Results typically arrive in 24–48 hours - I got mine in only 5 hours. ABUS also captures standardized, reproducible images, giving you a baseline that clinicians can compare with future scans to look for changes. One patient, Anisha, was 37 when her cancer was found at stage 1. She credits her ultrasound appointment with helping fast-track her care. And it wasn’t until September 10, 2024, that mammography facilities nationwide were required to tell women whether they have dense breasts. Some states already required this, but where you lived could determine whether you received that notification. Since 2024, the notice is required, but it only explains that density can hide cancers and increase risk, and that additional imaging may help some people… but it doesn’t say much else. We NEED to raise awareness about this… I was SHOCKED to learn what I did. It seems like a massive hole in the system and in women’s health. Please share this with your friends and loved ones!

RC2 didn't fix it, so logged: github.com/dotnet/runtime/is… - this is a hard "oof" for SE.Redis, otherwise (as in: performance collapses)
I thought I'd re-run my SE.Redis "async runtime" (.NET 11) checks; instead, found a catastrophic perf collapse in RC1, that I *think* (testing now against "daily") is already fixed for RC2 (github.com/dotnet/runtime/pu…). Fun!

The MOST expensive problem today is evals. Now you can use people's real work to improve your entire product. The AG-UI protocol captures everything: → what the agents did → what the users did AG-UI is the open protocol between agents and user-facing apps, adopted by Google, Microsoft, AWS and more, and it sees both sides of every task. @CopilotKit (the company behind AG-UI) is using that interaction data to make agents learn from how the product is actually used. It's called CLiF- Continual Learning from Fullstack Trajectories. Over time, CLiF finds patterns across sessions and proposes: > datasets of fullstack trajectories > evals > skills > and fine-tuned models All of it is yours to export, and you can self-host it inside your own VPC.
