The service provider stopped servicing the water plant because they wated 100% increase on the agreed terms. They water the tender value to increased by 100% This is the reason the EFF is calling for a capable state that can deliver it own services to the people. Lets insource water profesionals and Water & Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator and deliver quality services to our people. The service provider prioritised profit over the human lives of the people of Bronkhorstspruit. A city that depends on private individuals to deliver critical services to our people is a city that is being misgoverned. Nasiphi Moya must resign with immediate effect

I am deeply disappointed by the continued attempts by former Executive Mayor Cilliers Brink to exploit the water crisis in Bronkhorstspruit for political advantage, including through misleading claims about cholera. At a time when residents are understandably concerned about their health and safety, Mr Brink has chosen to amplify fears of another cholera outbreak without adequately explaining the scientific findings available to date. Let me be absolutely clear: cholera has not been identified as the cause of the gastrointestinal illness outbreak in Bronkhorstspruit. @CityTshwane
