What's the earliest age at which kids can get the 2-dose Pfizer series, @CDCgov, @ashishkjha, & @CDCDirector? Seems like 4-year-olds with a birthday before...mid-September? Pediatricians are interpreting this as meaning kids can get a higher dose only once they turn 5.

In fairness to Dan Patrick, I ALSO cannot believe that sick sons of bitches would come to an event like this & make the murder of children a political issue by continuing to grovel to a gun lobby that promotes death, violence, and broken families.
Daughter starts kindergarten this fall. Horrified to learn from mom friends of school-age children that the first thing they look for in their kids' new classroom is whether there's a space where the teacher can hide the kids if there's an active shooter.
