🔧 The next Juno update will be for the tinkerers: run AI models locally, fine-tune them with LoRA, run embedding models, and build full ML pipelines with Keras on an MLX backend. All on your iPad (or iPhone!). Ping me at [email protected] if you would like to try it early!
Juno 4.3 also ships with a *ton* of long-requested packages: Polars, DuckDB, scikit-image, Biopython, XGBoost, and a dozen more: juno.sh/blog/juno-4-3/
…And last but not least, Juno 4.3 brings a huge pile of quality-of-life improvements: a new Home screen, Jupyter notebooks that open as live, fully editable tabs inside projects, and much more. Enjoy!

🚀 Juno 4.2 brings a vastly improved Python package manager to iPad and iPhone.
Install a package and Juno automatically resolves dependencies, checks compatibility, and shows you the whole plan before anything installs (and offers to install requirements files for projects!).

Getting to crash-free is virtually impossible for an app like Juno, running CPython and Jupyter locally on iPhone / iPad (especially with Python bridging native Objective-C APIs!).
But I’m very happy with how Juno 4 rollout is going so far!
🧪 Coming soon to all TestFlights near you: Project Mode! Open any folder as a project and work across all of its files in one place, with multiple editor tabs and an AI assistant that's aware of your entire project. Ping me at [email protected] to give it a go. 😉
🧪 Juno 4.0 is in beta with a built-in (vibe)coding assistant! Available for both notebooks and scripts, and it's super-fun to use (BYO API key). Juno 4 also brings refreshed UI, faster console—with a lot more coming soon. Ping me at [email protected] to try it. 🙃
🤖 Automate Juno with Shortcuts! Create Shortcuts that run Python code or .py scripts in Juno—pass arguments and files, capture output, and chain actions. Run code with Juno in the background or foreground (for full memory access).
