So who wants to celebrate Juneteenth 2022 in Houston with us? We’re looking to be live and in person with a *RESPONSIBLE* gathering. Two days of conference Friday and Saturday with Houston and Galveston official celebrations on Sunday.

You can't tell me Black people are not the luckiest people in the US. This morning at the Denver airport, I was selected for extra screening. And as I watched two more Black folks were selected as well. Out of ~100 people we were the only ones. We are so lucky. #FWB

Welcome @bossnayamoss to the @juneteenthunl family as a contract Social Media Manager. ~MB
I’m excited to announce that @juneteenthunl has a paid Social Media Manager, @bossnayamoss. Through the generosity of our attendees we are able to make this a paid role rather than using a volunteer. I’m excited to be working with Naya who starts with us Monday.
Thank you, brother John, for carrying the torch of freedom from Selma to the halls of Congress. You were never afraid to get in #GoodTrouble, and neither are we.
ALT Congressman John Lewis in office with quote to the right "Freedom is not a state; it is an act. It is not some enchanted garden perched high on a distant plateau where we can finally sit down and rest. Freedom is the continuous action we all must take, and each generation must do its part to create an even more fair, more just society."
Congratulations to Angie Jones (@techgirl1908), one of the Keynote Speakers for our inaugural conference, on becoming the first Black woman recognized as a Java Champion.

Yes be authentic. Your audience will love you for it.
We have issues with our platform for requesting grant funds. I have sent a request to support from @opencollect and will update this space when it is resolved. In the interim donations are working. It will go to a 501c3 Org so is tax deductible. #BlackTransCrowdfund
