Let's have a recruiting reality check.
Power 4 schools don't hand out offers at camp just because you had a good day. Recruiting starts long before camp season.
Relationships, evaluations, measurables, transcripts, film, and communication all matter.
So don't confuse a camp invite with recruiting interest or an offer.
Recruiting is a process, not a one-day event.

The amount of high quality #Jucoproducts that are still available is crazy. It's alot of FBS and FCS programs put there that would rather take the 5th string back up from a P4 program then a proven all conference and Transfer ready #JUCOPRODUCT
Not knocking EJ but @UTEPFB keep signing Portal QBs who leave. Nelson,Locklear, Calzada and McConnell.
With all the really good still available #JUCO QBs out there, @CoachSWUTEP why not sign one?! Stop crying about NIL & Portal when you arent even looking at #JUCO guys
UTEP has a QB in Incarnate Word transfer, who threw for 2,142 yards, 16 TDs and 4 INTs in 2025. He will be a sophomore transfer.
As a true freshman in 2024, he played in three games and one start for UCF. He was an ESPN four-star quarterback and number-six quarterback nationally among 2025 players #MinerTalk
