When we launched Gretel 3 years ago, it was to solve a simple problem: people need data and they have a hard time getting it.
Here's a brief thread on what we've learned since then and why we're now building a #developer stack for synthetic data.
Finally, this entire process needs to be automated i.e.
- Integrate into modern data sources and sinks
- Remove the need to make explicit model choices; and
- Apply privacy preserving steps before synthetic model creation
It should be simple and seamless.
We are super excited about building a #developer stack for synthetic data that anyone can use and that addresses the modern challenges of data consumers.
