Saw these billboards all over the city of Temple today. I appreciate whomever put these up. I’m truly proud of the pride that exists in Temple, Texas, for our students, staff, and @TempleISD public schools.

Gov. Greg Abbott appointed 21 educators to the new Texas Classroom Commission.
The group will deliver recommendations to strengthen instruction, support teachers, and boost student achievement to help make Texas the No. 1 state for public education.
A lot has changed since my first panel @HoldsworthCentr. I had the honor of joining stakeholders, Rep. @DonnaHowardTX and SBOE Member Tom Maynard for meaningful two-way dialogue with TX educators. Thank you @TexasTribune, @RYHTexas @OfficialATPE, and @EducateTexas for creating this space. Together, we're creating lasting change for Texas public schools. 🍎⭐

If you're familiar with Texas classrooms, this event is important. Here's why. 🧵👇🏽
ALT Quote card reads: “I look forward to sharing ideas and hearing from community stakeholders on creating effective policies, so we can create systems and conditions that enable teachers to prepare students to fully participate in the digital world.” – Janet Harrison, Forth Worth ISD literacy demonstration teacher and Teach Plus Texas Policy Fellow | 2026 Student Success Summit Dallas-Fort Worth March 28 | Teach Plus Texas
Natalie Brown is truly an unsung Shero! Thanks for your leadership.
Our @teachplusTX Policy Fellows –– current classroom teachers –– are conducting statewide research to understand what it takes to ensure every student earns a postsecondary credential or degree within six years of graduation.
On Saturday, we'll take a look at what that means 👇🏽
ALT Quote card reads: “The Student Success Summit creates space for teachers, school leaders, and community partners to come together around research and real classroom experience to identify solutions that strengthen college, career, and life opportunities for students across Texas” – Natalie Brown, Teach Plus Texas Policy Director | 2026 Student Success Summit Dallas-Fort Worth March 28 | Teach Plus Texas

Shout out to @templejcwbb Coach Amber Taylor, players, and Lady Mustang Jasmine for mentoring our KPES students at our monthly Breakfast Club! 💛Our students were applying the teamwork and skills they’ve learned in the gym, before and after school. That’s what real impact looks like. 💪🏽✨

Congrats to TASA Executive Committee member @OttTempleISD @TempleISD, who was presented with the @tspra Key Communicator Award by TSPRA President Kristyn Cathey, APR, during the organization’s annual conference in Galveston today! #InspiringLeaders #txed #TSPRA26
I had the absolute BEST time presenting alongside Teacher Commission Chair, Krystal Thomas, at the 41st Annual @TABSE_Texas State Convention. So inspired by the impact these educators will make at both the elementary and secondary levels.
By educating educators, two Master Teachers from @TempleISD are evolving into Master Leaders.
