🚨 If you are wondering why Govt & Coalition are resisting banning gambling advertising – maybe the 600% rise in political donations made to the major parties by gambling lobby groups over the last decade has something to do with it!

We’re continuing to work hard to protect young people from vaping.
Today we launch a $2M investment to deliver workshops, community events, and a peer-to-peer digital platform for young people aged 14 to 25.

Alex Rodriguez asked a question. Reggie Jackson answered it.
(Shouts to the producer and rest of the desk for staying out of Reggie’s way and just letting him talk. I doubt they expected this answer. But it’s a great few minutes of television.)

These ratings destroy the lack of interest justification for not having para races during prime time slots. People don’t turn off their TVs when our stories are told well. Sport loses when we are hidden away before live streams begin. The sports that get this before 2032 will win

🌈 Discrimination has no place in sports clubs. On #IDAHOBIT, let's stand together against all discrimination. Let's create inclusive spaces where everyone feels safe, accepted, and celebrated. Together, we can break barriers and promote equality in sports. 🏳️🌈

Now seems a good time for these reminders:
👉🏾2 things can be right.
👉🏾Everything isn’t binary.
👉🏾Saying it louder doesn’t make you appear right.
👉🏾Insulting someone because you disagree makes you look stupid.
👉🏾Research why you could be wrong before going in so hard!

Tomorrow is the @UN International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.
It comes amid a sickening rise of hateful ideologies in Australia in a year in which racism against First Nations is surfacing through discussions on the Voice to Parliament.
