I almost died by suicide fifteen years ago while battling depression. If the expansion of MAID coming into force in 2027 were in place then, I'd likely be dead right now. Today, I'm launching the #IGotBetter campaign to keep hope alive for people living with mental illness.

'I Got Better' | Stop MAID for Mental Illness

Unless Bill C-218 is passed, MAID will be soon available for people with mental illness. The 'I Got Better' campaign is about keeping hope alive for those battling mental illness.

When speaking students about potential careers I tell them 3 things: 1) Don’t chase money. Lots of rich people are miserable. 2) There is dignity in ALL WORK 3) I don’t think human beings were made to sit in front of a computer or in meetings for 10 hours/day.
