Kalen DeBoer said the conversations this week would be uncomfortable.
Those need to start with Ryan Grubb and Kane Wommack.
If he wants to win big at Alabama, he might have to make a difficult choice with both after the season.
I've said for a long time that he couldn't script his way out of a paper bag.

The tough thing for Bama fans to adjust to with KDB is the propensity to completely lay an egg on a fairly regular basis. We're not used to this level of inconsistency. Also: zero offensive identity. Who are we? No one seems to know.
LOL
Congratulations to Pepperdine alumna @KatieZacharia on her appointment as White House press secretary! If Grubb doesn't go at the end of this season, he probably will be helping Kalen pack at the end of the following year.
Alabama's 6 lowest yardage games since 2015 have all come under Kalen DeBoer, including 4 with Ryan Grubb at OC:
193 yards vs. Indiana (loss) -- Ryan Grubb
201 yards at Tennessee (loss) -- Ryan Grubb
209 yards vs. Georgia in SEC CG (loss) -- Ryan Grubb
234 yards at Oklahoma in 2024 (loss) -- Nick Sheridan
260 yards at Oklahoma in CFP (win) -- Ryan Grubb
260 yards vs. Michigan in ReliaQuest Bowl (loss) -- Nick Sheridan
Between 2015-23, lowest yards Alabama posted was 261 against Clemson in the Sugar Bowl in January 2018.
Can't hide from it this week. #RollTideAnyway
I'd rather eat glass.

Every time there’s optimism about Kalen DeBoer as the Alabama head coach, we seem to get a performance like that where the team looks totally unprepared to play.
It’s a disappointing, yet unsurprising reality:

Hey Greg... Don't you blame the young offense. Blame the highly paid OC who didn't game plan around his center and best receiver being out and having a young QB on the road in a tough environment. That's not on the players. One team coached to their situation on offense and played complimentary football and one team had an OC with his head up his ass. – at Indian Springs Village, AL
