Make me feel something
The thing about AI “movies” is, I just don’t care. I’m not impressed. Really. People are like, “wow look what I made with $39!” and its some wild space movie and it just does nothing for me.
I’d rather see a $39 movie made by real people with props and sets that looks cheap and silly than a $39 AI movie that looks like a blockbuster.
Prime is one of the only actual engineers worth following. Most "engineers" on X are just on the AI hype train. And the train leads right off a cliff.
The vibe coding community is basically cancer of the software world. Spreading unmanageable tumors like wildfire with 100% certainty this is sustainable practice.
Yup this guy absolutely gets it

HOT TAKE: Copying code doesn’t make you a fraud.
Not understanding what you copied, that’s the problem.
The real skill is in knowing how to debug, refactor, and extend what you borrowed.
Execution > Originality. Every time.
When I'm not coding, I'm coding. When I'm not coding, I'm writing music. Except usually I'm just watching my kids not destroy the house.
Can find plenty of combo tutorials. Can find plenty of NetCode tips. Can't find many guides about combo stringing over multiplayer, so this one was on me. Server authoritative management of input timers combined with network animator...needs some tuning, but we're getting there!
You have to type the code, bruh. AI typing it doesn't count. Use ai as a teacher, but you better be asking questions. And TYPE THE CODE
If I use AI to learn a new language or concept, I always include " explain line by line, and tell me what every function does. Don't assume I know anything. " this makes it a better teacher, keeps me honest, and it's like studying a textbook tailor-made to your situation.
Do we honestly think vibe coding is going to get better? Or has AI peaked? I was always under the impression that when AI learns from AI, only infinite entropy can result. And we're about all out of original content.
If your app is a to- do list, go ahead and vibe it. If it's not, I recommend the "learn to code" approach
