The IPCC Math Deniers Every headline climate claim is proven false by simple mathematics applied to the data the IPCC itself certifies. These are not disagreements. They are lies. By Jonathan Cohler Mathematics is absolute. A theorem, once proved, cannot be falsified by new data. You accept it, you find a false premise, or you find a broken step. Nothing else works. Galileo called mathematics the language in which God wrote the universe. Denying a theorem is not disagreement. It is lying, and it is illiteracy. The United Nations climate reports include some real measurements almost no one disputes: thermometer readings, carbon isotope records running back five centuries, ice-core samples, radiocarbon from mid-century bomb tests. The reports accept these inputs. Simple mathematics applied to those same inputs proves the IPCC's headline conclusions false, and policies on the scale of trillions of dollars are built on those false conclusions anyway. When the arithmetic is pointed out, the arithmetic is ignored. Every one of the six public claims examined below (the warming target, the planetary energy imbalance, the carbon budget, the fossil-fuel fingerprint, the long atmospheric lifetime of CO₂, and the extreme-event attribution ratios) is proven false by junior-high-school math on the data the IPCC itself certifies. That is math denial, and in plain language it is lying. "Global Temperature" Is Not Real A thermometer measures the air touching the bulb. It does not measure the Earth. Temperature is what physicists call an intensive quantity: it belongs to a specific place and does not add. Two rooms at seventy degrees are not a single room at a hundred and forty. Pour a cup of coffee at ninety degrees into another cup at ninety degrees and you have two cups of coffee at ninety degrees. The number reported each year as the global temperature is an area-weighted average of readings from a few thousand surface weather stations. Do the math. The Earth's surface is about 510 million square kilometres. Each thermometer physically samples the air immediately around its bulb, a volume on the order of one cubic metre. A few thousand thermometer bulbs times one square metre of sampled area each is on the order of one part in a hundred billion of the Earth's surface. The stations are also distributed nothing like uniformly: dense across the United States and Europe, sparse to absent across the oceans (70 percent of the planet), central Africa, interior Asia, and the polar regions. From that vanishingly small and geographically lopsided sample, a single global number is announced each year to the tenth of a degree. Change the weighting recipe (by area, by mass, by solar flux, by land versus ocean, at the surface or at two metres) and the number changes with it. Thermodynamics supplies no equation that picks a correct weighting, because none of them yields a temperature. The Physical Tether Theorem proves it formally: an area-weighted mean of intensive readings has no physical referent. It is a statistic, not a measurement. The public claims proven false. "The planet has warmed 1.1°C since pre-industrial times." The 1.5°C warming limit of the Paris Agreement. The 2°C Paris target. "The hottest year on record." Every "degrees of warming" headline. Each one puts degrees on a number that is not a temperature. Every treaty, mandate, and target in international climate law uses that same false number as its central reference. The number is published. The units are published. Both are false. "Ocean Heat Content" Cannot Be Measured The reports claim the planet is gaining heat at roughly 0.7 watts per square metre of Earth's surface, with more than 90 percent of that supposedly stored in the ocean. The number comes from the Argo float program, about four thousand instruments profiling the upper 2000 metres. The whole calculation fails in exactly the same way the global-temperature calculation fails, and for exactly the same reason. Ocean heat content is built from temperature anomalies. Temperature is intensive. The Argo processing takes sparse point readings along each float's ascent, assigns them to the position where the float later surfaces (an offset of up to tens of kilometres), subtracts a climatological reference that is itself a statistical construct over 2004–2018 rather than any actual water, multiplies the resulting "anomaly" by seawater density and specific heat, and integrates over grid cells. Multiplying a non-physical anomaly by physical constants does not produce a physical energy. It produces a number with the units of energy stapled to it. The same thermodynamic theorem that rules out a global temperature rules out this scalar. There is no ocean heat content measurement here. There is a statistical construct carrying units of joules. Do the sampling math. The ocean holds about 1.3 billion cubic kilometres of water. Four thousand floats sampling a thin trail during each ten-day ascent cover a direct volume fraction on the order of one part in a billion per year. The deep ocean below 2000 metres, which is roughly half the ocean's volume and thermal energy, is essentially unsampled. The polar oceans are essentially unsampled. The CERES satellite flux data, which carries absolute uncertainty of 3 to 5 watts per square metre on its own, is then adjusted to match the Argo-derived number, so the two values "agree" by construction rather than independent confirmation. A full accounting of the real uncertainties puts the error bar at at least ±1 watt per square metre, bigger than the 0.7 central estimate itself. The claim is statistically indistinguishable from zero even before the thermodynamic objection. The public claims proven false. "Earth's energy imbalance has been quantified." "The oceans have absorbed 90 percent of excess heat." "Ocean heat content reaches a new record." These are advertised as the central empirical pillar of the greenhouse-warming case: the physical signature everything else is supposed to rest on. There is no physical signature here. There is a non-physical construct with the units of a signature attached to it. Ocean acidification is published the same way. Acidity is local. No ocean average exists in nature. One is computed anyway, and fisheries policy follows from it. The Carbon Ledger Proves Nothing Atmospheric CO₂ rises when inflow exceeds outflow. Split the inflow into human emissions and everything else. Rearrange. The ledger balances. It balances if humans drove the rise. It balances if the oceans did, or the soils, or any combination. The equation is true by construction. The textbook name is an accounting identity. A theorem of causal inference, straightforward enough to teach in an afternoon, proves that any proposition true purely by definition and conservation carries no information about cause. Zero information. Not weak evidence. None. The IPCC presents the balanced carbon ledger as evidence that fossil fuels caused the rise. It cannot be. The ledger would balance whatever the cause. The related slogan that about half of human emissions remain in the atmosphere is one divided quotient of two long sums. The ratio has fluctuated between 18 and 77 percent in individual years. The 44 percent figure cited as settled science is a smoothed average, not a measurement of how much human carbon is still airborne. The atmosphere turns over its carbon on roughly a four-year timescale. The stock from fifty years ago is almost entirely gone. The public claims proven false. "Fossil fuels caused the CO₂ rise." "The remaining carbon budget is X gigatonnes." "Net zero by 2050." Every carbon tax. Every cap-and-trade market. Every corporate net-zero pledge. Every ESG filing. Every one of them cites the balanced ledger as proof that fossil fuels caused the rise. Simple math proves the ledger cannot prove that. The Isotopes Prove the Opposite Fossil fuels carry a specific isotopic fingerprint. Carbon from coal, oil, and gas has a δ¹³C value near −28 per mil. Carbon leaving the oceans runs near −8. Measure the isotopic signature of the CO₂ actually being added to the atmosphere, and elementary two-source mixing gives the fossil-fuel fraction directly. One line of algebra. Three independent records converge on the same answer. The modern Keeling-plot intercept places the added carbon at about −13 per mil. Caribbean sclerosponges, which record ocean chemistry in their skeletons, give the same figure back five hundred years. The Law Dome ice core, the record anthropogenic-attribution proponents themselves cite, gives it a third time. Three systems. Five centuries. One number. Plug −13 into the mixing equation and the fossil-fuel fraction comes out near zero. Over those five centuries, human emissions rose from a trickle to about ten billion tonnes a year. Had fossil carbon been the dominant addition, the signature would have grown steadily lighter as the fossil share rose. It did not. The public claims proven false. "The isotopic signature proves the CO₂ rise is anthropogenic." "Humans are responsible for essentially all of the observed warming since 1850." This is the IPCC's own smoking gun. It is held up in every assessment as the clinching evidence of fossil-fuel attribution. Simple math on the records the IPCC itself relies on proves the opposite. The reports accept the data. The arithmetic the data forces, they ignore. The Thousand-Year CO₂ Lifetime Is a Fiction The nuclear bomb tests of the 1950s and 60s roughly doubled the atmospheric ratio of radiocarbon (¹⁴C) to ordinary carbon. After the Partial Test Ban Treaty of 1963 shut the source off, that excess has relaxed back toward the pre-bomb background along a single exponential curve with a time constant of 18.4 years. Fifty-four years of global measurements. R² = 99.998 percent. One line. A single exponential has exactly one time constant. A sum of exponentials with distinct time constants is a different function and cannot be made to look like a single exponential. This is proved by elementary linear algebra: the Vandermonde determinant does not vanish, and Cauchy-Schwarz forbids the equality. There is no fitting trick that evades it. The IPCC's impulse-response function for CO₂, called the Bern IRF and used to compute every Global Warming Potential the panel publishes, is exactly a sum of distinct exponentials plus a residual fraction that supposedly never decays at all. That residual has drifted from 13.7 percent in the 1995 assessment to 21.7 percent in the current one, which is already a tell: a function tracking a real physical process does not change its asymptote every ten years. The ¹⁴C anomaly and the bulk CO₂ pulse share the same removal operator. An operator-equivalence theorem carries the single-exponential result from the isotopic decay over to the mass response for CO₂ itself. What the data proves about the shape of the one, it proves about the shape of the other. The Bern IRF is mathematically incompatible with the measurement. Not approximately. Exactly. The Bern IRF is also not fit to any measurement in the first place: it is fit to the arithmetic mean of an ensemble of climate models tuned to the same thermodynamically meaningless global-temperature index. It is a model of an average of models, and the one direct empirical test of the atmospheric CO₂ impulse response rules it out. The public claims proven false. "CO₂ emitted today will warm the planet for centuries, even millennia." The entire structure of Global Warming Potentials (GWP₁₀₀, GWP₂₀) used to compare methane, nitrous oxide, and CO₂ in treaties and markets. The Social Cost of Carbon that drives federal cost-benefit analysis. The intergenerational-ethics argument for aggressive mitigation now, in which today's emissions supposedly burden children ten generations hence. Every one of these numbers depends on the long tail the bomb data proves does not exist. A small energy imbalance, below the detection threshold of the satellite instruments, is enough to drive the observed CO₂ rise through warming's ordinary effect on seawater solubility and soil respiration. No special mechanism is needed. No tuning is needed. Extreme-Event Attribution Is Made Up When a report declares a heat wave 150 times more likely because of climate change, the comparison is to a hypothetical Earth on which the industrial revolution never happened. That Earth was not observed. It cannot be observed. No duplicate planet exists on which to tally outcomes. A probability is a count of what did happen divided by a count of what could have happened. On a planet we do not have, nothing happened. The denominator is zero. Dividing by zero does not give a small number or an uncertain number; it gives nothing at all. The "150 times" is not a measurement. It is a number someone wrote down. Two attribution studies of the 2021 Pacific Northwest heat wave came in at "at least 150 times" and "at least 8 times." The intervals do not overlap. A count of a real quantity does not disagree with itself by a factor of twenty. When you divide by zero you can get any answer you like, and in practice researchers do. The public claims proven false. "Climate change made this hurricane X times stronger." "Scientists link this wildfire season to warming." "The flood could not have happened without greenhouse emissions." The entire industry of extreme-event attribution. The Loss and Damage fund established at COP27, which transfers payments from developed to developing nations on the basis of climate-attributed disasters. The insurance-industry models now writing climate risk into property premiums. The litigation underway against energy companies, in which attribution ratios are offered to juries as damages evidence. Every one of these downstream uses is a made-up number dressed as a measurement. The Lies at the Center of Climate Policy The individual measurements the IPCC uses are not in dispute. Thermometers work. Floats work. Isotope ratios are measured to astonishing precision. Smokestacks emit CO₂. What is in dispute is the mathematics layered on top, and the public claims that mathematics is supposed to support. A theorem proves an area-weighted mean of local temperatures is not a global temperature. The 1.5°C target refers to a number that is not a temperature. The same theorem kills ocean heat content: temperature anomalies averaged across the non-equilibrium ocean are not an energy, and the Argo-derived "0.7 W/m²" is a construct with units of joules attached, not a measurement. A theorem proves the balanced carbon ledger has no causal content. Net zero cannot be derived from it. Simple arithmetic on the isotope records puts the fossil share of the net CO₂ addition near zero. The attribution claim runs backwards from the data. Vandermonde and Cauchy-Schwarz prove the single-exponential bomb-¹⁴C decay is not a sum of distinct exponentials, and operator-equivalence carries that result from the ¹⁴C anomaly to the bulk CO₂ pulse. The Bern IRF, and the thousand-year persistence story that depends on it, describes a different function from the one the data draws. Attribution ratios divide by zero. The headline multipliers are made up. Every major policy-relevant claim the IPCC and the media put before the public is one of these constructions. Every one is proven false by junior-high-school math on the data the IPCC itself certifies. When math proves you wrong, you have three choices: accept it, show which premise is false, or show which step is broken. The IPCC does none of them. It publishes the measurements. It publishes the conclusions. It refuses to notice that the measurements kill the conclusions. Published statements that are untrue are called lies. There is no other word for it. The IPCC and the media are telling the public lies, and the lies are the public case for climate policy. Galileo called mathematics the language in which God wrote the universe. The IPCC refuses to read it. Elementary arithmetic has already disproved every headline the panel publishes. Every policy that cites those headlines is enforcing a proven lie. Trillions of dollars. International treaties. Carbon markets. Net-zero mandates. Loss-and-damage transfers. Courtroom damages. All of it is extracted and imposed on the strength of claims the data has killed.

The robot that displaced a factory worker in 2019 made you richer. Not the factory owner. You. This confuses people who treat jobs as the end goal of economic life rather than the means. Henry Hazlitt demolished this error in 1946 in "Economics in One Lesson." When a machine replaces ten workers on an assembly line, those ten workers represent released labor, which redirects toward production the economy couldn't afford before. The machine, meanwhile, drops the price of the manufactured good. You buy the same shirt for less. That gap between what you pay now and what you paid before is real purchasing power, a raise you received without your employer signing anything. Let's look at televisions. A 60-inch 4K television cost around $1,500 in 2015. Today you buy comparable picture quality for under $350. Automated manufacturing drove that collapse. The factories didn't become charitable organizations; they competed for your dollars by deploying capital more efficiently, and the savings landed in your pocket. This process terrifies politicians because the benefits disperse invisibly across millions of consumers while the displaced workers are visible, concentrated, and angry. So politicians respond by subsidizing inefficiency, taxing automation (as the EU seriously proposed in 2017), or erecting tariffs that punish you for wanting cheaper goods. Every such intervention forces you to pay more than the market price, transferring your purchasing power to a protected producer and their employees. Free market thinkers have stressed one fact since Mises and Böhm-Bawerk formalized capital theory: rising capital intensity, meaning more and better machines per worker, is the entire mechanism behind rising real wages historically. Britain improved living standards between 1760 and 1850 by replacing hand-operated looms with machines, freeing labor to produce medicine, railways, and eventually the electricity grid. Automation is capital accumulation made visible. You benefit from every iteration of it, provided the state leaves the price system alone to do its work.

The Masterpiece. Ludwig von Mises published Human Action in 1949, twenty years after fleeing the socialist catastrophe consuming Europe. He wrote it first in German in 1940, finishing the manuscript while escaping Nazi-occupied Austria. By 1949, Keynesian economists controlled every major university and government treasury in the Western world. Mises had no institutional support, no tenured chair in America, and no government grants. The book's core argument destroys the pretense of central planning at its foundation. All economic value is subjective, meaning prices emerge from individual human choices, not from labor inputs or government decrees. Central planners cannot replicate the price system because prices require private property and voluntary exchange to generate real information. Strip those away and planners fly blind, misallocating capital on a massive scale. Mises called this the socialist calculation problem, and no Keynesian has ever answered it satisfactorily. The interventionist state corrupts economic coordination through every price control, subsidy, and money-printing scheme. These tools distort the signal system that coordinates millions of independent decisions. You pay for this directly: inflation confiscates your savings, price ceilings create shortages, and subsidies redirect capital away from your actual needs toward politically connected industries. Mises built his method on praxeology, the formal study of human action under scarcity. Economics derives from the logic of choice, not from statistical regression. This gave free market thinkers a bedrock that empiricist critics cannot simply vote away. Human Action still cuts deep because the Federal Reserve has printed over $9 trillion since 2008 and the consequences Mises predicted, asset bubbles, mal-investment, and monetary chaos, arrived exactly on schedule. The book does not age because human nature does not change.

Georges Seurat died at age 31, leaving behind only seven large-scale works. The result of pure obsession. A Sunday on La Grande Jatte: 2 years and over 2 million dots, placed one by one Look at the lady with a pet monkey, the man smoking a pipe, or the rigid soldiers. Seurat spent thousands of hours placing millions of microscopic dots, forcing your brain to do the work of blending them optically. His routine was brutal. Every single morning, he took the ferry to the island of La Grande Jatte, sketching in complete silence for hours. Every shadow is pure mathematics: red dots sitting next to green, violet beside yellow. He was so fanatical about controlling light that he even painted a border of colored dots around the edge of the canvas. He produced over 60 preliminary oil studies before the final canvas. In his tiny studio, the work was so huge he built a mechanical pulley system just to tilt it and reach the top corners. In 1924, the Art Institute of Chicago bought it for $24,000—a move local critics slammed as a complete waste of money. Today, the canvas is far too fragile ever to travel, making Chicago its permanent home.

Peter Thiel makes a very important point in his latest interview: we moralise far too much. Think German Energiewende. Thiel explains that moral judgement has increasingly replaced functional judgement. Instead of asking whether something actually works, we rush to classify it as morally good or evil. The confusion starts with the word “good”, because it has two completely different opposites: - The moral opposite of good is evil. - The functional opposite of good is bad. These are two entirely different axes. Yet public discourse increasingly folds them into one. Particularly the progressive left wants to occupy the moral high ground. So everyone virtue-signals — or pretends to, often without the slightest competence to judge the virtue in the first place. Enter the climate crisis. Too much CO₂ is declared evil. Overnight, everybody knows we are in a climate emergency. Any doubt becomes morally suspect. After all, the IPCC consensus has declared it so. A Ferrari can now be declared morally “evil” because it burns too much fuel. Yet it remains an exceptionally good car. And here lies the political trap: once something has been declared morally good, its advocates start treating that moral classification as evidence that it is also functionally good — that it actually works. And even if it works demonstrably worse, it doesn’t matter. It’s virtuous..! But obviously the two may have absolutely nothing in common. A policy advertised as virtuous can be functionally terrible: incompetent, ruinously expensive or incapable of achieving its stated objective. Worse, once all its consequences are counted, it may turn out not to have been virtuous in the first place. Germany’s Energiewende is the textbook example. Nuclear was morally branded “Hochrisikotechnologie” by @Die_Gruenen — high-risk technology — from the 1970s onwards. Dangerous. Irresponsible. Wind & solar became the virtuous alternative: “renewable”. And once that moral hierarchy was established, the engineering and economic questions became irrelevant: Does the resulting electricity system actually work better and cheaper? Of course not. Nuclear power was one of the great scientific achievements of the 20th century: enormous quantities of cheap electricity from tiny quantities of energy-dense uranium, virtually no operational CO₂ emissions, little land use and dispatchable generation from massive rotating machines that also contribute to grid stability. More importantly, it is also one of the safest forms of electricity generation mankind has ever developed. Yet German Greens spent decades morally slandering it. And Germany was hardly alone. Across much of the West, nuclear became something morally suspect rather than an extraordinary feat of engineering. Doubt, rather than gratitude, accompanied nuclear. The doubt of the ignorant. Yet by some obscure moral code, ignorance itself suddenly earned a seat at the table. Expertise became optional; moral conviction became qualification. A child could command a global audience on questions of energy systems. How dare you? Meanwhile, physics doesn’t care about false virtue signalling. A TWh of solar is not functionally identical to a TWh of nuclear — not at night, not in winter and not even at noon on a summer day if it is generated in the wrong place or exceeds consumption at that moment. Why? Bc an electricity system has never been about producing enough TWh over a year. It has always been about timing and location too. Electricity must be produced at the precise time and location it is demanded, while generation and consumption must remain continuously balanced because the grid itself cannot store electricity. That is Thiel’s message: The Energiewende — replacing nuclear with wind and solar — proved neither functionally competent nor virtuous. It was one gigantic $2 trillion amateur hour.
Peter Thiel: I think we moralize way too much. And there's always a question I like to ask: What is the antonym of good? The moral antonym is evil. The functional antonym is bad. A Ferrari is an evil car because it doesn't get many miles per gallon. A Trabant is a bad car. It works. It's less good than a Golf car, you know, the former East German car. So, you know, if you're evil, you're at least competent. And if you're evil, you're not bad, and therefore you're actually maybe kind of good because you're at least getting something done. I think it's better to be good than evil.

🔥 TRUMP JUST REPOSTED JFK’S MOST TERRIFYING SPEECH — AND THE DEEP STATE IS PANICKING JFK saw it coming. In 1961. And now, Trump has just made sure 300 million Americans see it, too. The speech everyone’s talking about: Kennedy’s address to the American Newspaper Publishers Association, April 27, 1961. The CIA had just botched the Bay of Pigs. Kennedy was livid. He’d been lied to by his own intelligence apparatus. And he walked onto that stage and said something no president has dared say since. “We are opposed around the world by a monolithic and ruthless conspiracy that relies primarily on covert means for expanding its sphere of influence — on infiltration instead of invasion, on subversion instead of elections, on intimidation instead of free choice.” Read that again. Monolithic. Ruthless. Conspiracy. This wasn’t some fringe radio host. This was the sitting President of the United States, on live television, telling the American people that a shadow network of power — operating through intelligence agencies, media complicity, and institutional capture — was working against the republic itself. And then he said the quiet part out loud: “Its preparations are concealed, not published. Its mistakes are buried, not headlined. Its dissenters are silenced, not praised. No expenditure is questioned, no rumor is printed, no secret is revealed.” Sound familiar? Sixty-five years later, Trump drops this video on Truth Social. No commentary needed. The speech does all the work. And within hours, the same media outlets that spent four years calling Trump a conspiracy theorist are suddenly very quiet. Here’s what they don’t want you to connect: - Kennedy was assassinated 2.5 years after this speech - The Warren Commission was a joke — even the House Select Committee on Assassinations in 1979 concluded Kennedy was “probably assassinated as a result of a conspiracy” - The files are STILL classified - Trump has been pushing to release them, but the permanent national security state refuses, instead slow-walking the order The timing isn’t random. This isn’t just history. JFK described a permanent national security state that has only grown more entrenched — one that operates beyond elections, beyond accountability, beyond the reach of voters. Kennedy called it “a system which has conscripted vast human and material resources into the building of a tightly knit, highly efficient machine that combines military, diplomatic, intelligence, economic, scientific, and political operations.” That machine didn’t disappear when he died. It got even stronger. Trump reposting this isn’t nostalgia. It’s a signal. The same forces JFK warned about are the same forces that tried to destroy Trump — Russiagate, two impeachments, lawfare, media blackout, assassination attempts. The playbook hasn’t changed. Only the names. And now the sitting president just reminded the country who the real enemy has always been. The speech that scared them then is the speech they’re terrified you’ll watch now. Sharing this because they’re counting on you not to watch it. Don’t let them win. 🎯

I can tell you as a journalist for more than 35 years, there is no way any news organization can consistently get so many things completely wrong unless they are ideologically blinded &/or knowingly/intentionally suppress the truth in violation of the tenets of real journalism. All these false stories blasted across the world are evidence of journalistic malpractice carried out by the mainstream media for YEARS. Not a single error run once by a single institution - these lies were multiplied across countless media outlets & broadcast non-stop. In most cases, thousands & thousands of stories. There were never any meaningful apologies or corrections & once the truth was completely exposed/indisputable, their dishonest behavior continued to the detriment of the audience/readers & the nation as a whole. In some cases this went far beyond journalistic malpractice to conspiracy - not a made up “conspiracy theory” to silence dissent - but a real one where journalists/editors/owners were conspiring with political operatives/sources to run fabricated information warfare campaigns against the President in order to subvert his rule & paralyze government function. These are well-funded, professional, targeted operations that are a betrayal of everything the press is supposed to stand for in the land of the free. Not only that, the worst offenders were rewarded for their efforts, with multi-million dollar salaries, cushy assignments & the top awards in journalism, sometimes for stories that were completely fabricated. That in itself is egregious enough. But it does not begin to cover the damage done to this country. A divided America is a weak America that can be exploited by her enemies, both foreign & domestic. It has made this nation vulnerable to foreign influence operations & external threats as we have seen from the CCP, Iran & the global elite. It has prevented this country from moving forward with measures to fully protect its sovereignty & territorial integrity. In short, it has intentionally slowed the function of government which is an act of war that has in turn purposefully limited this President in his duty to uphold the will of the voters who elected him - the fact that his political enemies don’t agree/approve, does not make subversion or treason legal. The American people have been denied accountability for treason & sedition, in large part because of the role the media plays in
Here are ten grotesque hoaxes that permanently broke corporate journalism and exposed their cartel forever. Legacy media executives feign bewilderment over their cratering credibility, yet the historical record tells an undeniable story. The collapse of public trust was earned through calculated psychological operations, doctored footage, and deliberate institutional fraud. They demanded you ignore your own eyes, surrender basic common sense, and treat blatant partisan propaganda as sacred scripture. 1. The "Fiery But Mostly Peaceful" Spectacle (CNN, 2020) Ali Velshi stood in front of towering infernos consuming Kenosha storefronts while the lower-third graphic insisted the scene was "mostly peaceful." The broadcast demanded viewers distrust their own eyes to protect the regime's preferred civil unrest. 2. The Covington Catholic Character Assassination (2019) Legacy networks selectively sliced footage of teenager Nick Sandmann standing motionless while an activist banged a drum inches from his face. The media branded a quiet high schooler as the face of white supremacy, triggering multi-million dollar defamation settlements once uncut footage destroyed the script. 3. The Jussie Smollett Hate Crime Fable (2019) Anchors uncritically broadcast an absurd fairy tale featuring sub-zero Chicago temperatures, roving assailants carrying bleach, and an intact noose. Newsrooms substituted basic police reporting with cheap racial melodrama, crowning a mediocre actor a martyr before Chicago police dismantled the fraud. 4. The Hunter Biden Laptop Suppression (2020) Fifty-one retired intelligence operatives signed a letter laundering genuine domestic corruption as foreign influence. Corporate networks obediently censored the report right before a presidential election, only verifying the laptop years later when political consequences had expired. 5. The Charlottesville "Very Fine People" Deception (2017) Cable news ran a heavily edited nine-second soundbite to convince the public that a sitting president endorsed white supremacists. They buried the explicit sentence spoken moments later condemning neo-Nazis entirely. Networks weaponized this lie for seven consecutive years. 6. The Border Patrol "Whips" Fabrication (2021) Anchors and politicians accused mounted border agents of using whips against Haitian migrants along the Rio Grande. Even after the civilian photographer publicly testified that agents used split reins to control horses, the media kept the smear alive to paralyze sovereign enforcement. 7. The Automotive "Bloodbath" Panic (2024) Commentators clipped a speech analyzing Chinese auto tariffs and manufactured a panic about nationwide political slaughter. Outlets coordinated identical headlines across digital platforms, deliberately deceiving voters to produce cheap campaign fear. Clip Search: Trump bloodbath auto industry speech full context 8. The Steele Dossier Collusion Hoax (2016 to 2019) Cable hosts spent years reading unverified opposition research funded by political opponents as sacred scripture. Pundits guaranteed imminent treason indictments on prime-time television, harvesting viewer paranoia to fuel a multi-million-dollar ratings racket built on zero evidence. 9. The "Hands Up, Don't Shoot" Myth (2014) Pundits raised their hands on air to validate an execution narrative that never happened in Ferguson. The federal Justice Department ultimately demolished the story using forensic ballistics, yet networks permanently embedded the fabrication into modern cultural folklore. 10. The Wuhan Lab Leak "Racist Conspiracy" Blackout (2020) Legacy reporters branded the virology laboratory hypothesis a xenophobic delusion to protect international bureaucracies and federal research grants. Once evidence made the scenario undeniable, the press pivoted without acknowledging their coordinated suppression of scientific inquiry. These ten hoaxes barely scratch the surface of a decades-long catalog of engineered deception. X has character limits, and modern server infrastructure has physical constraints. Documenting every single fabrication produced by the left-wing press would literally require paving the entire surface of the moon with data centers. The legacy cartel traded its credibility for partisan propaganda, and the American public permanently revoked its trust. The monopoly is broken, the curtain is down, and their authority will never return.

🚨🇺🇸🇺🇸 DATAREPUBLICAN 2.0 LAUNCH, FEATURING THE EFFECTIVE ALTRUISM (EA) EXPLORER 🇺🇸 The website redesign has finally landed thanks to @watilo ! For a decade, one small ideological network has been taking over AI governance. Chances are, if you've heard of AI policy, AI ethics, AI safety - these groups are dominated by this ideology. This ideology is called: Effective Altruism. Three weeks ago, Effective Altruists (EAs) showed their hand when they started calling for a moratarium on AI development. Since them, I've been building out this map to show the circularity of their ideology. Let's take one example. Holden Karnofsky. Defends the moral worth of digital people ... that's right, he wrote an article on why AI "people" should be assigned value as if they were living humans. Karnofsky co-founded two major EA philanthropies, GiveWell and Open Philanthropy. Subsequently went to work for METR, a central "independent" AI research nonprofit. And for good measure - recently announced a leave of absence to work on AI safety. Funding, policy, research, safety all in the same person. And he's far from the only one. EAs have created a closed-circuit network because they believe they're right; ergo, they should be in charge. The goal of launching this project was to expose all this circularity. Sam Bankman-Fried was only the beginning. With the EA Explorer: * 🌐 Read an introduction to Effective Altruism in their own words. * 🔥 Explore verified quotes. Again, their words, not mine. * 🖥️ Explore the network of connections. UI improvements still in progress. * 🖨️ Print out networks so you can study them offline (or run them through AI) 👇 Try it now (link in next post):

Why we KNOW fossil fuels played a completely negligible role in the rise of atmospheric CO₂ in plain English 1. Carbon has a fingerprint. Carbon atoms come in two stable kinds. One is a little heavier than the other. Every source of carbon on Earth has its own mix of heavy and light atoms, and scientists measure that mix as a single number. Think of it as a fingerprint. Coal, oil, and gas have a fingerprint of minus 28. Carbon dioxide bubbling out of the ocean has a fingerprint of minus 8. Volcanoes are minus 5. Dissolving limestone is 0. A lower number means lighter carbon. These fingerprints are measured facts, and the IPCC uses the same numbers. 2. You can read the fingerprint of whatever is being added to the air. When carbon is added to the atmosphere, the atmosphere's fingerprint drifts toward the fingerprint of what was added. In 1958 Charles Keeling showed a simple way to read off the fingerprint of the added carbon directly from the air measurements. It is a graph. Plot the air's fingerprint against the amount of CO₂ in the air in a certain way and you get a straight line. Where that line meets the edge of the graph is the fingerprint of the net addition. This is not a computer model. It is bookkeeping. You count the heavy atoms, you count the light atoms, and the answer follows. Nothing about oceans, forests, or weather goes into it. 3. The fingerprint of the added carbon is minus 13. Koutsoyiannis (2024) did this with the four Scripps monitoring stations in Alaska, California, Hawaii, and the South Pole, using records from about 1978 to today. Every station gives the same answer: minus 13.2, give or take 0.2. These are the same records the IPCC relies on. Two completely separate measurements say the same thing. A Caribbean sponge that grows in yearly layers, like tree rings, records ocean carbon back to about the year 1500. Its fingerprint is about minus 13 for all five centuries, with no drift. Air trapped in Antarctic ice at Law Dome, analyzed by Köhler et al. (2006), also gives minus 13. Three different materials, three different laboratories, five hundred years, one number. 4. Simple mixing math sets the range from the modern data alone. Every carbon atom added to the air came either from fossil-fuel combustion or from some non-fossil-fuel source: the ocean, volcanoes, rock weathering, plants and soil. The fingerprint of the mix tells you how much came from each. It works like mixing paint. If you mix black and white and get a very light gray, you know there was very little black. Fossil-fuel carbon is the black, at minus 28. The ocean is the white, at minus 8. The measured mix is minus 13, much closer to the ocean than to fossil fuel. The modern record from 1978 to today does not by itself pin down the exact fingerprint of the non-fossil-fuel carbon. It could be anywhere from minus 8 (pure ocean) down to minus 13 (matching the mix exactly). Run the mixing math across that whole range and the fossil-fuel share comes out somewhere between zero and 26 percent. That is what we know from the modern data alone: not more than 26 percent, possibly zero. The exact answer comes in step 6. 5. The official claim is impossible under any assumption. The IPCC, NASA, NOAA, EPA, and Engelbeen, Hannon, and Burton (2024) say fossil-fuel combustion caused essentially all of the rise. That is close to 100 percent. "Dominant" by any normal meaning is at least 80 percent. Run the mixing math backwards and ask what the non-fossil-fuel carbon would have to look like for each of those claims to be true: - For fossil fuel to be even a bare 50 percent, the non-fossil-fuel carbon would need a fingerprint of plus 1.6. No carbon source on Earth is that heavy. - For 80 percent, it would need a fingerprint of plus 46. That is more than 20 times heavier than the heaviest source that exists. - For 90 percent, it would need plus 120, about 60 times heavier than anything on Earth. - For 100 percent, it would need to be infinitely heavy. The official claims do not fall a little short. They require carbon sources that do not exist. 6. Five hundred years of no change gives the exact answer: essentially ZERO (0% fossil-fuel sources). The modern data left one unknown: the fingerprint of the non-fossil-fuel carbon. The sponge and ice-core records supply it. In the year 1500 there was essentially no fossil-fuel burning, so the fingerprint of the added carbon then, minus 13, came entirely from non-fossil-fuel sources. That fixes the unknown at minus 13. Since 1500, fossil-fuel burning has grown about ten thousand times over. If fossil-fuel carbon were any real part of the added carbon, the fingerprint would have slid toward minus 28 as burning grew. It did not move. It is still minus 13 today. Put minus 13 for the non-fossil-fuel carbon and minus 13.2 for the modern mix into the mixing math and fossil fuel's share of the added carbon comes out at about 1 percent, which is zero within the measurement error. The range of zero to 26 percent from step 4 collapses to a single answer: essentially zero. 7. Why this is knowledge, not opinion. The conclusion rests on three things only: - counting atoms, - the standard measured fingerprints of fossil-fuel carbon and the other sources, and - the Scripps, sponge, and ice-core records. The IPCC uses all three. Anyone who accepts all three and rejects the conclusion is refusing to do arithmetic. The only way out is to throw away one of the three, and each one is a foundation of the IPCC's own work, and nobody has done so anywhere in the peer-reviewed literature. 8. What is actually happening. Burning fossil fuel does put CO₂ into the air. That is measured at the smokestack. But a CO₂ molecule stays in the air only about four years on average before the ocean or plants take it back. So fossil-fuel CO₂ never piles up. Add up all fossil-fuel emissions since 1850 with that four-year turnover and only about 4 percent of the carbon in today's air came from fossil fuel. The growth in atmospheric CO₂ since the industrial revolution came from non-fossil-fuel sources. Fossil fuel's share of that growth is essentially zero.
IPCC HUMAN CO₂ ATTRIBUTION PROVEN MATHEMATICALLY IMPOSSIBLE Fossil carbon contributes ≈ZERO to the observed rise in atmospheric CO₂. The Keeling intercept has remained locked at δ¹³C_I ≈ −13‰ for five full centuries, while fossil emissions rose from essentially nothing to ~10 GtC yr⁻¹. A large fossil fraction would have dragged the intercept toward −28‰. It didn't budge. The only value consistent with a fixed intercept is fossil fraction f ≈ 0. IPCC’s own methods, own isotopic standards, and own data force the conclusion: Human fossil emissions are not the cause of the rise in atmospheric CO₂. PERIOD. The claim is mathematically dead. Full mathematical proof: bit.ly/NoHumanCO2

Two important essays were published this week on the theme that the climate movement is now a serious national security risk for the US and Europe. This one in Tablet magazine: tabletmag.com/sections/news/… is by 2 authors, one from the Hudson Inst in DC and the other a professor at the Naval Postgrad Academy in CA. They trace the links between China and the western Net Zero movement, which is partly financial, but works mostly through influence operations by which the CCP gains exemption from criticism by western green groups despite its own coal-intensive and slave labor-dependent growth strategy. This one: thegwpf.org/content/uploads/… is by Richard Dearlove, former head of MI5, explaining how China's influence ops in the UK led to deindustrialization and a precarious dependence on China; to the extent that the UK could not now reindustrialize or stabilize its electricity grid without seeking assistance from Beijing. Dearlove's paper raises the possibility that a security agency like MI5 saw a threat building but was unable to address it because of a perception that climate science forbids criticizing Net Zero and related measures. A question I think worth asking is whether western intelligence agencies have internalized the green Net Zero mindset thereby preventing them from challenging the climate alarmism so effectively weaponized by the CCP. And if they now want to start doing so, would they know how, or have the capacity to do so.

🚨 CRIME OF THE CENTURY UNCOVERED 🚨 Robert F. Kennedy Jr. just dropped a BOMBSHELL that should shake America to its core. When he walked into HHS, he found the ultimate betrayal: Xavier Becerra and the Biden administration gutted the anti-fraud team that was supposed to protect $2.2 TRILLION in taxpayer money every single year. There were only 80 people watching over 50 states and 5 territories. Becerra transferred 76 of them out. Only 6 people left. Six. For 4 MILLION transactions a day. It was an open invitation for the thieves. And they came running. Phony hospices in Los Angeles billing $6,000 a month for patients who didn’t even exist. Durable medical equipment fraud — tens of billions stolen. Autism services — tens of billions more looted. The store was left wide open… and they cleaned it out. RFK Jr. is calling it exactly what it is: a deliberate dismantling of the last line of defense against the greatest government fraud in modern American history. This wasn’t incompetence. This was the crime of the century. And the American people just found out who left the vault door unlocked.

I have some thoughts! Nikole Hannah-Jones interviewed me at the height of woke-1 to champion and virtue signal her “fight for every black child” and disparage and dismiss my fight for all NYC public school students to enjoy the rising tide that lifts all boats of academic rigor and meritocracy. She thought my support of the Specialized High School Admission Exam, the SHSAT, was racist. I thought her school politics were deeply misguided, and well, quite racist. Unlike Hannah-Jones I have nothing to walk back. I knew then what she has just figured out that her identitarian race-based grievance project would not fix anything. And in fact, it has hurt all public school students. Not just in NYC—her Magnum Opus of racial grievance, The 1619 Project, is taught in schools across the country and its reasoning is used to dismantle and stop the creation of the kind of high school that her daughter ultimately chose—the one that finally taught her algebra. NYC Public School students score lower on all academic metrics now than they did when her daughter started school—and we tax payers pay more for it. Enrollment continues to plummet while those in charge dumb down standards and hide results. So much of that is because any solution that challenged Hannah-Jones' race-baiting—endorsed by The Times and Democratic leaders alike—was verboten. Like Hannah-Jones I have a HS junior. My two older kids have graduated from NYCPS and are in college and my youngest is in NYCPS elementary school. I have qualms with parts of their education but also many success stories. Can you get a great education in NYCPS? Yes. But you have to fight for it. And insisting on the schools that grade math homework is a start. Knowing what your child is learning and mastering is a non-negotiable. Standardized tests help with that, but are a starting point only. Blaming phantom racists instead of understanding the role parents play was and is a lazy cop out. There is still an effort–alive and well right now-to dismantle great schools like NYC’s specialized high schools because they use standardized admissions tests. The effort still relies on the same failed logic that Hannah-Jones has peddled for years. She insisted that kids like her daughter who did not score high enough on a test to gain admission were the victims of racism. But she refused to acknowledge that poor Asian kids whose parents had NONE of the resources that her daughter enjoyed (or should have enjoyed) (English speaking parents, resources to pay for prep classes, knowledge of how the system works, etc) were not racist oppressors—but kids willing to work hard and apply their smarts with parents that prioritized subject mastery and took the time to make sure their kids were actually learning. Her daughter is right. She deserved much better. But it is not the cauldron of racist grievances that Hannah-Jones still cannot let go of that failed her daughter. It’s her daughter’s parents that did not figure out for NINE YEARS that their daughter was not learning enough. New York City Public Schools should be among the best in the world because we have so many incredibly talented, smart and hard-working students that could and should learn more by being challenged more–and that means sorting kids into cohorts where they can rise to the level of their abilities and willingness to work. In other words “screening”—the exact project Hannah-Jones fought against for so long and which she has now relied on to rescue her daughter’s education. You’re welcome Nikole. Your daughter’s chosen high school would not exist but for parents like me who fought so hard to keep screened schools.
The daughter is correct. I called this at the time.

Chesterton’s Fence is a warning: If you don’t understand why a fence was built, you have no business tearing it down. And I think this is one of the best frameworks for examining feminism. Marriage. Monogamy. Sexual restraint. Motherhood. Gender roles. Male provision. Feminism saw many of these institutions as “constraints” on women. But what if it mistook civilization’s guardrails for women’s cages? What if marriage didn’t just constrain women but it constrained male sexual opportunism? What if sexual norms didn’t just restrict women but they demanded commitment and responsibility from men? What if traditional roles didn’t just obligate women to nurture but they obligated men to provide, protect and sacrifice? Maybe some fences needed to come down, I’m happy to keep that option open. But before we tore them down, did we understand what they were holding up? I’m going to assume many never took the time to question that.
