The missed XP significantly narrows the field for the defense too BTW, field goal makes it a 2-score game whereas it would've still been a one score. There's barely a player or coach to emerge with any credit here. #49ers #fttb

Michael Penix Jr., for example, is at only 5.9 yards per attempt — which is terrible in a vacuum (would rank #33 of 33 QBs). The Falcons are also at only 3.8 yards per carry. But Atlanta hasn't needed to be more explosive because the there's been a floor of yardage to take for free. No giveaway danger. The 49ers need to force the issue with coverage and/or pass rush or they'll just die a slow death today

If I'm gonna shit on Robert Saleh as I did last year, Raheem Morris has to get it today. No idea what the defensive plan is, he's been completely outcoached by Stefanski. Penix getting the ball out quick, run D nowhere, soft coverage, it's awful to watch. #49ers #fttb
