Why does Pete decide to onside kick it. If u kick it deep and get the touchback at 2:01 the clock doesn’t start effectively giving u another timeout. Obviously genos fumble is what killed the game but i don’t like the onside

I don’t think his evaluation was wrong at all Purdy is playing this way because of decision making… Not incredible arm talent and size. Think we all agree he’s got a league average arm and standing at 6’1 is below the average nfl qb height of 6’3🤷🏼♂️
Brock Purdy was told by Nick Saban just six years ago as a recruit that he was “below average” in height, his arm strength was “whatever” and his accuracy was “average.”
Now, six years later, Purdy leads the entire NFL in completion percentage (70.2%).
Has more passing yards (3,553) than Dak Prescott, Josh Allen, and Patrick Mahomes.
More passing TD’s (25) than Jalen Hurts, Trevor Lawrence, and Lamar Jackson.
And a higher QBR (74.7) and passer rating (116.9) than every QB in the NFL.
The Alabama HC could not have been MORE wrong on his evaluation of Purdy 😳
