The reason one must be mindful of which spirit they partner with in pursuit of progress is simple: every destination begins with a decision, and decisions are shaped by the spirit influencing the mind.

It is a shame that people do not realise that God is the KING of all kings. This whole “What has religion done for me?” mindset has already reduced God to the utility of your appetite; which is precisely the trap. The crux of Christ is that, left to your natural state, you are doomed. Study yourself honestly for long enough and you will see why. We have transgressed an eternal law we could never satisfy by ourselves. Yet God, who sees infinitely beyond this realm, entered it. He took upon Himself the death you deserve, to freely offer you the eternal life you could never deserve if you will receive it. And after all of that, man still asks, “But what has religion done for me?” Your stomach has become so loud that it has blinded your heart. And the tragedy is, even if you gained everything your stomach desires, it still would not be full.

The music industry has plenty of “friendships” but very few friends. You learn the difference when there’s nothing left to gain from you.

Before you aspire to work with anyone, first find out if they respect you. Civility is not respect. Don’t confuse the two.
