One day my child will ask, what did you do in the great culture war? Where were you when people shook their fists at the sky crying "MY abstraction TRUELY changes the constraints!" I'll proudly say "I made THIS tweet! The tweet that ended the war." 🕊️ #typescript #javascript

I'm going to attempt to maintain a fork, and I'll be filing type errors into the main repo. I don't know if anyone has done a similar experiment of this "type" but it should be interesting! github.com/shiftyp/ts-turbo/…
"So farewell, TypeScript. May you bring much rigor and satisfaction to your tribe while letting the rest of us enjoy JavaScript in the glorious spirit it was originally designed: Free of strong typing." world.hey.com/dhh/turbo-8-is…

Putting things in perspective: As an open source contributor you're working on critical components for possibly thousands of applications. It's incredibly important, powerful real work, and even the "small" contributions can move the needle for people across the world

To use an animal analogy, agile companies treat teams like sprinting racehorses, indexing on success. Another view is a team of beavers building a better dam. Does the dam thing work? Do we find holes and patch them? This is true lean practice, where failure is a feature 🔰

Ham Radio: What if a single troll had the power to bring down th internet? This is the reality for UHF/VHF Amateur Radio Operators in NYC due to malicious interference across repeater and simplex frequencies. The @FCC could honestly care less. Very sad situation here. 😭🎙️📻

I’ll save you the obscene examples of interference, but this is the kind of thing I’m talking about. Hard to talk over Steve Miller on a repeater. I’ll save you the trouble of looking for this repeater…it’s been turned off due to 24/7 of this and worse

Hopefully that day won't come, but it may take that kind of overr criminal interference before the @NYPDCommAffairs, surrounding local authorities, or the federal authorities like the @fcc take action

Beginning is a paradox. You have nothing, but you have everything. You'll acquire opinions with time, but your most valuable possession is the ability to change your mind. The struggle is the energy of change, and this power arises from your beginners mind🔰#100devs #CodeNewbies

I dislike the term "real" problems in programming. Real problems are theoretical ones with context and constraints. If you're practicing programming at any level, you're solving real problems 🔰 #CodeNewbies #100Devs
