Standing ovation for an amazing speaker Dr Richard Harris, rescuer of 13 boys in Thailand. A witty and humble talk of a heroic achievement @DAS_2023

Tell me you work in the NHS without telling me you work in the NHS…

I did it! 27miles and a billion steep hills. All for @BasingstokePmi It was so hot with multiple people going off in ambulances for heatstroke and injuries, but such fun and a great medal. Thank you so much for your support- it means everything. #chooselife

Under 2 weeks until a hilly marathon. Not sure what I was thinking- it’s very easy to sign up to something but less so to do it! I’m running for @BasingstokePmi who are amazing and research into the rare appendix cancer I had last year. justgiving.com/page/joanna-t…

I'm fundraising for the Peritoneal Malignancy Institute at Basingstoke. After the last year of crap I’m running a marathon. Thank you all for looking. Check out my @JustGiving page and please donate if you can. Thank you! #JustGiving justgiving.com/page/joanna-t…

What a difference a year makes. This time last year I had just come out of the other side of major surgery at @BasingstokePmi. 7 months of chemo and a lot of recovery, I am back at work part time and looking forward to Christmas at home. Thank you NHSπŸ’™

My amazing and legendary cousin, got knocked off her bike on Sunday. The van drove off, leaving her unconscious in the road with substantial injuries. She’s going to be ok but I can’t believe someone would do this.

Last lot of chemo today. It’s been really hard going even if I may look β€œwell” and still have some hair. One chapter closed and the next one of watch/wait and hope it doesn’t come back opens. Now though it’s time to enjoy the summer with my kids. #chemodone

I am an anaesthetic consultant with a recent new cancer diagnosis. I am triple vaccinated as is my husband to keep me and others around safe. Having recently stayed on ITU and had extensive surgery, I have relied on my fellow colleagues and NHS staff to do the same.

A belated but heartfelt THANK YOU to @HHFTnhs and the @BasingstokePmi especially the staff on ICU and ward C2 at Basingstoke Hospital. I had the most amazing care which meant I was home in record time for Christmas. Your staff are amazing. πŸ’™

One of those days where the money that you earned working crappy weekends has been eaten up by a broken car accumulator, or is it an alternator? All this on top of home school and a post covid cold. Still great news- my mum has a vaccine appointment. #thankfuck
