One of my favorite things about making movies is looking back years later and realizing the stupid little thing you made for no reason means something completely different now. Keep making the little shit. You never know what it becomes.
My dude on the plane in front of me is watching the movie Fool’s Gold.
He fell asleep for like 20 minutes. He woke up and realized he had fallen asleep and rewound the dang movie.
I respect the fug out of that dedication to romantic comedies.
What filmmaker made you realize movies didn’t have to look or feel like everything else you were watching?
Have you ever seen a movie that made you laugh so hard you cried? Or someone gave you an angry look because of a visceral guffaw?

Not necessarily underrated. Just something you wish came up in conversation more often.
You ain't lived til you sang along to an old American hippy crushing Johnny Cash at an Irish Pub in Germany while a drunk local slams Guinness while attempting to sing the song over everyone because "he was in choir" . . . Everyone needs good bar stories. Even sober people.

For a fun summer project, my kids and wife helped turn my into an alien for an afternoon.
Cheap mask, methylcellulose, flour and water... just kind of random stuff -- but I think it turned out fun!
