Before we learned top deputies Sheena Wright and Phil Banks had search warrants executed at their homes yesterday, we tried to ask @NYCMayor about @frankvcarone - after our investigation into his biz. Asked the mayor about the conflict of interest, he says “what conflict?”
I am never shopping there again, barring an apology and reversal. This is like book banning - which I assume this bookstore opposes.

Part of growing up is recognizing that sometimes one must hold in one’s head competing ideas simultaneously.
Joe Lieberman was a towering figure in my hometown and among family and friends. I appreciated the internship he gave me — although I enjoyed it, it made me realize I wanted to be reporting and not in politics. I am stunned at this loss. My ❤️ and prayers to his family.
