More pictures of the fantastic dragon dance

The children loved making the dragon dance around the hall accompanied by some expert drumming

A favourite with the children was the dragon dance session, some of our younger children were excited to watch

The sessions were led by teachers from the Confucius institute at Edge Hill University @confuciusedgehi

Our Key Stage 2 classes had a wonderful day today taking part in workshops all about Chinese New Year.

Please be careful getting school this morning. School is OPEN. If this changes we will let you know. Ensure your child is wrapped up in their coat, gloves etc. Please note for safety the car park will not be in use this morning

So happy to announce the news, well done to all our fantastic pupils, parents, staff and governors for creating a welcome for all 💜@Kirkbycollab @ALPSITnews

Thank you to everyone who took part in our Bend the Rules day, we raised almost £300, here are just a few pictures of the pupils taking part 😀

Thank you to all the children and family members who created amazing 2Dand3D entries for our Space Week challenge. We were so impressed with the fantastic effort and skill on display.

A huge thank you to Mr Perry for creating this stunning ark for our Early Years classes to teach the story of Noah. We cannot wait to show the children.

The thoughts and prayers of our whole St Joseph’s school community are with the family and friends of former pupil Michael Jones who passed away tragically yesterday. He will always be remembered fondly by staff and pupils.

Thanks to the staff who have given so much time and effort to the teams this year. This moment was so special as these pupils have given everything this year and finally they are winners! And what a moment for this brother and sister at their last tournament together 😊

Thankyou so much to the wonderful team at @All_Saints_CHS for the organisation this morning. What a morning! @Kirkbycollab @ALPSITnews @lpoolcatholic

Our teams were magnificent today and won the Father Ryan & The Walter Tomlinson cups @All_Saints_CHS as you can see they are delighted

Tomorrow is Y4 Holy communion photo day! As soon as you arrive go straight to the hall. If you wish to wait with the children and help them to get changed after you can. They will be having a celebration afternoon so they can bring their own clothes to get changed into.
