At a quiet diner in Grand Rapids, Michigan, a 6-year Apple repair specialist took her brother's overheating iPhone, opened his raw Analytics log, and compared it to what she sees daily on Apple's internal AST 2 diagnostic dashboard.
His battery health screen had been stuck at 81% for 5 months straight.
"Everyone blames overnight charging when their phone dies after 2 years," she said, turning the screen toward him. "That is a distraction. Your battery is getting cooked because iOS ships with 6 hidden telemetry and radio switches turned on by default."
She tapped the thermal log inside his settings.
"Apple uses your $1,200 phone as a free data server while you sleep, and the health meter stalls right above 80% until your warranty runs out."
She took his phone for 2 minutes and turned off the 6 hidden switches Apple hopes you never touch (save this):

Tesla just made the future look unreal.
A car that could hit 60 mph in under 1 second, reach speeds above 230 mph, and potentially use rocket technology.
But the most interesting part isn't the speed.
It's what Tesla is trying to build next.
Here's why the new Roadster isn't really a car.

Apple makes it easy to believe that spending more means getting a better iPhone.
But that's not always true.
If you're shopping in 2026, here are three alternatives worth considering:
• iPhone 17 — A great all-round option for everyday use, with strong performance and capable cameras.
• iPhone 17e — A more budget-friendly option for people who want a newer iPhone without paying Pro prices.
• iPhone 18 Pro — Worth considering if you want Apple's latest premium features and advanced camera capabilities.
Before buying, compare current prices, battery life, camera quality, and storage options.
The goal isn't to buy the most expensive iPhone.
It's to get the best value for your money.

2026 is your chance to get ahead before the rules change.
Here's where I'd focus:
→ Learn to use AI as leverage, not just a chatbot
→ Build a skill people are willing to pay for
→ Create something online that can earn without trading every hour for money
→ Share what you learn and build an audience
→ Improve your communication until opportunities find you
→ Save money so you can take calculated risks
→ Build relationships before you need them
You don't need to do everything.
Pick two. Stay consistent. Give yourself 12 months.
Your next 12 months could change your next 10 years.
