Hey @linear, could you give me this functionality natively? (Most recent issue comment showing in the Kanban view.) I wrote a Chrome extension that does it, but would rather have it be native.

Not at all what I expected from this acquisition. This is awesome.
Last week, my company @AwesomeMotive acquired a popular free WordPress plugin WP Crontrol. My primary goal was to give this incredibly useful plugin a good home because we use it ourselves, and I have a lot of respect for John Blackbourn (original creator). WP Crontrol will remain free forever. As part of our commitment, in today's release, we just added all the previously Pro features in the Free version including Cron Logs, Cron Alerts, and newly added Cron AI. wordpress.org/plugins/wp-cro… Yes all users will now get all the Pro features for free. Thank you for your trust and continued support 🙏🏻

Over the last 20 seasons, Big 12 teams not named Oklahoma or Texas are 1-11 vs Top 10 Power 4 teams in the regular season. The lone win being Oklahoma State’s upset over Oregon earlier this year...
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Big 12 teams besides Oklahoma and Texas have multiple regular-season wins over top-10 Power 4 teams in the last 20 seasons, such as Iowa State's 37-31 double-OT upset of then-No. 2 Oklahoma State in 2011. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_Okla… espn.com/college-footba… (confirms the cited OSU-Oregon win)

Weird. Were these the only two games of 2025?
Last year, #9 Notre Dame beat 4-win Stanford by 29. During the same week, #10 Alabama squeaked by 5-win Auburn on a late TD. Naturally, Alabama moved ahead in the next ranking, and Notre Dame dropped out of the Playoff entirely following their bye the next week. Irish leaving nothing to chance this year, up 37-0 on Stanford at half.

Looking forward to seeing massive upgrade banners on some of my sites. "It's not allowed" in the WP repo, of course (except, yeah, they allow it).

Who knew that if you don't play a conference championship and decline to play in a bowl that it's easier to maintain a win streak?
Notre Dame has won 14 straight games, its 3rd-longest win streak since the program’s last national championship in 1988 ☘️ Luck of the Irish? Not quite... All 14 wins have come by double digits, the longest active streak in the FBS and the longest in program history 😤

Except, you know, the forfeit.

I've been really surprised at how little the WordPress MCP seems to do out of the box. It just doesn't have hardly any kind of "default" abilities for WordPress. Can't update cpt meta, for example. No access to search posts if not exposed in REST.
The current UI around MCP with WordPress is horrendous. Experienced people still don't know how to use it. I'm gonna write a simple utility plugin to fix that.

VibeWP, BTW, is super cool. They have a full-on php emulator for most wp cli commands – I'm not going to go quite that far, but directionally I think that's correct. We can get most of the way there with some relatively simple REST endpoints.

And there are things that I think VibeWP is missing. For example, I don't think they have functionality that allows for agent read access for files. That's not ideal. So we can fix that to make our agents more effective.

So here's a very early version of the working plugin. Tell me if you think this would be useful in your workflow. I'm running into some hurdles I didn't expect in terms of agents just *being bad at things* they've been good at before.

This is a dead simple idea. I'm shocked that no one's done it, or maybe if they have, I just am not aware of it. I just want a one-click copy and paste that automatically creates an application password or similar that is time-scoped and automatically sets up the default MCP.

What I don't want is to locally manage keys for live sites. That's more of a pain than things are worth. If I can log into the site as an admin, then I should be able to log in with AI. And it's faster to just push a copy button than it is to manage those sorts of keys.

Hey, @YouTube, my kids were watching Disney roller coaster videos this morning and getting political ads. Could you not serve political ads on kids’ content? They can’t vote and don’t need to see attack ads that discuss child abuse. @jamestalarico @KenPaxtonTX fix your ad buys

This looks great. This is one of the reasons that I think WordPress is still the right technology. It's becoming more AI native every day while still being human editable. That's what we ought to be aimed at.
Block Runner is an open-source tool we built, that turns HTML from any AI agent or design tool into real, native Gutenberg blocks, and checks every result against the same parser the WordPress editor uses. npm install block-runner (comes with a /skill)

lmao. So Baylor was 6 inches away from being No. 4 on this list, and instead they're No. ... 109?

I love how half of the chat thinks they beat the game when every button has been made blue. This is representative of how people actually interact with LLMs.

Because CF and WP aren't ... competitors in this space, as WP is a CMS and CF is hosting. You're comparing apples and trees.
