Question 3) Deprecate Sprout I will be voting to deprecate as soon as possible. This is the hardest choice in the poll for me. I believe that people need to be given firm end dates for deprecation, and do so with sufficient notice. Everyone procrastinates moving without a firm end date. This is why I don't feel good about "disable at NU7". NU7 ASAP is my goal, which is not a fixed date. However, Sprout has been protocol-level withdraw only for over 6 years now, and was the world's first ever shielded pool. I was previously a big proponent of deprecate in 1 year. Given the state of AI vulnerability development, and the little attention put on Sprout, 1 year of waiting at the current workload feels un-prudent. My ideal given where we are now would be a fixed date around EOY, but I think given the nature of consensus gathering and the perils of re-polling, deprecate ASAP is best. Additionally, I suggest we get a vote going soon to ratify Sapling going withdraw only in like 6 months time, so everyone gets the push to go Quantum Recoverable.
