Just testing oembeds.
Will announce later.

Here's how and why I run CI/CD with preview environments anywhere with self-hosted Git runners.

Working on my first #DrupalCore feature: a better Status Report page, using lessons learned from developing Site.module.

Hello, @X!
Been a while? How've ya been?
Not gonna lie, we've missed you! It's been a lonely few years.
Anyone going to #drupalcon?? Would love to see you IRL.
Hit me up @jonpugh here and on drupal slack.
Do you use drush globally to access different sites from one place? That feature is going away.
Try "Ash: Alias Shell" is just a simple replacement for global "drush" aliases, using "consolidation/site-alias" and "consolidation/site-process".

If there was a tool to keep track of your sites, regardless of where they were hosted, telling you their status, perhaps a one-click-login feature, would you use it?
A CMS of CMSs, so to speak. Interested?

Introducing the first detailed documentation of Site.Module, a way to make any Drupal site better: drupal.org/project/site
Not going to sell it here... The new documentation provides a pretty good walkthrough.

Today would have been my daughter's 6th birthday. She died the day after her birth.
Her brother went the same way 2 years earlier.
I've never mentioned it publicly, but felt the need to this morning.
This has bothered me immensely forever.
Why not just "woo"?
I think it's the alphabet song fuckers. Had to fill the measure.
Fuckers.

Tech and life are the same.
Working systems exist only because of the many subsystems that evolved before them.
No one truly understands how life or digital tech works, top to bottom.
Working systems work because they evolved, not because they were designed.
And yet, we try.

We’ve focused most of the last decade plus on trying to build frameworks for hands off automation, but we haven’t focused on making operating what we have directly any easier.
When we try to "model the problem" it's so easy to forget pieces of the puzzle and think the new widget will solve everything.
We should study working solutions and create models from that: get the damn machines working, then recreate the state.

Infra Automation today removes direct control in order to provide benefits of repeatability and scale by having you codify your behaviors in code. But as St. Burgess has tried to tell us for so long, perhaps we aren’t modeling the problem well?
