When I did army officer selection in 2019 a full colonel asked us to discuss Megan Rapinoe and whether female sports stars deserve equal pay. I was expecting to talk about Ukraine, the future of NATO, maybe China. Instead, we just talked about American culture war shit. If the British armed forces lack manpower, it’s because a lot of self-respecting patriotic young men are put off by a hierarchy that has been totally captured by political correctness. General Roly Walker is in the position he’s in because he thinks gender is a social construct and the magic soil of Britain can convert even the wildest Pashtun tribesman into a John Bull if he just has the right piece of paper conferred by a civil servant. Sod off.

Accents: The Black Country (West Midlands)
The Black Country dialect is one of the oldest and most historically preserved speech patterns in England. It is spoken across the industrial region west of Birmingham, covering the metropolitan boroughs of Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall, and Wolverhampton
The dialect retains strong roots from Early Middle English and Old English (specifically Mercian English), having largely resisted the Great Vowel Shift that altered speech in other parts of the country. ⏳️ @Britains___Pubs
