Bears tried to force the breakdown once more, but $BTC quickly made it back above the key support area. Hold $82.5k from here, and we likely make it back towards the local highs over the next few days. Eyes on 87k.

This token is gonna cause Ptsd for pak collectors
ASH isn't a token yet. That's the point. 🪨 It's a published book of who fed the house: every loss, every mint rate, every oracle snapshot, auditable live. When the ember-paper program deploys, books become the SPL token 1:1. Right now only module coins play: their fees trade 1000× against the house while you watch. The tutorial era: real money, real liquidations, zero user deposits. And tutorial-era ASH mints at 100/$1. The richest rate there will ever be. embercurve.fun/furnace

This guy re-created all the adobe apps with opus-5.5, ported them to rust, and opensourced them something really cool is happening
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
These projects are partial open-source Rust reimplementations of Adobe apps (built rapidly with AI agents), not complete recreations; their READMEs and roadmaps document many missing features and features still in development. github.com/storytold/phot… github.com/storytold/vect… github.com/storytold/vect… github.com/storytold/film… github.com/storytold/film… github.com/storytold/ligh… getartcraft.com

12/ I hope to continue receiving grants from foundations and donations from individuals, as it enables me to take on higher risk for unique cases that others may not consider viable. For this case, I fronted $349.7K and lost 5% on each order, with no guarantee Jimmy wouldn't disappear with the funds, and an unknown amount of personal risk from dealing with the syndicate. Since 2022, I have helped action $75M+ in freezes related to DPRK incidents. My findings were immediately shared with trusted investigators within the private sector and law enforcement assigned to the case. Due to sensitivity around the investigation, I was unable to publish sooner. That is one of the frustrations I have with my work. I am not always able to share findings as quickly as I'd like, and I am currently sitting on significant findings from other cases. If this case resonates with you and you're in a position to support it, feel free to reach out.

Oil flows in the Strait of Hormuz have sharply rebounded: Persian Gulf crude oil exports surpassed 14 million barrels per day last week for the first time since the Iran War began on February 28th. This marks an over +210% increase from the ~4.5 million barrels per day low seen in March. As a result, the 4-week average is up to 14 million barrels per day, the highest level in 6 months. Persian Gulf crude oil exports have now recovered to ~80% of their pre-war levels. This comes as the US military has increasingly secured the Strait of Hormuz and established a two-way shipping corridor along the coast of Oman, allowing oil convoys to resume through the waterway. Meanwhile, refined fuel shipments, including gasoline, diesel and jet fuel, remain at only around 50% of pre-war levels, as these products are more expensive to transport than crude oil and some refineries in the Persian Gulf that were damaged during the early stages of the war have also yet to fully resume operations. Oil flows are coming back, but the fuel market is still under intense pressure.

A short story of short-sightedness: Labour: "we'll tax the wealthy, it'll make everyone rich!" The working class cheer. The wealthy leave Labour: "sorry but we have to tax the working class more now."
JUST IN: Britain’s second-richest billionaire David Reuben leaves the UK for tax-free Monaco, joining a growing exodus of ultra-wealthy residents.

The only sells on the orderbooks are fake scare walls (that get pulled last minute) while the bids are organic. Interpretation: Bullish

There we go - major breakout for $BTC against $GOLD. It's time for digital gold to take over again. Higher.
$BTC and $GOLD keep taking turns to run. Goldbugs had their fun over the past year, but it looks like it'll be Bitcoin's time to shine again soon. Bottoming process could take a while still, but once we reclaim that grey box, Peter Schiff is in trouble.

Things could get very interesting for the bulls if $BTC pulls off a reclaim here. Let's see 👀

At the end of a momentous week, here’s a final video, of @realartlaffer explaining the Laffer Curve, as we walked from a meeting in Parliament to a podcast recording at the QEII Centre. It was an honour and privilege to host Dr Laffer in London this week.

Dario has written that we need to “pace the frontier,” and Sam has agreed. People may be surprised by my response: go ahead. You guys are the frontier. By any reasonable metric — market share, revenue growth, model capability — the two of you have a duopoly on frontier intelligence. You’ve also claimed the lead is widening because of recursive self-improvement. I don’t see what you see in the lab. If the unreleased models are scary enough that you think you should slow down, I support your decision to be responsible. But stop pretending you need anyone else’s permission. Stop pretending antitrust law has to be suspended so you can form a cartel. Stop pretending you need a regulatory approval process that supersedes product liability. Stop pretending METR is independent when it is intertwined with Anthropic’s investors and staff. Stop pretending you need those same evaluators to police competitors who aren’t even at the frontier. Most of all, stop pretending the motivation to slow down is purely altruistic. You face massive product-liability exposure if your products enable a truly damaging cyberattack. The market already punishes models that behave in unpredictable or unauthorized ways. After the Hugging Face episode, it is simply good business for OpenAI and Anthropic to trade some raw power for reliability and predictability. Call it alignment if you want. It is also just giving customers what they want. Pacing the frontier would also create breathing room for a more intelligent conversation about regulation than Bernie Sanders’ “shut it all down.” China is very unlikely to join a global agreement, as you know, and that has to be taken into account as well. So go ahead and pace the frontier. You are the ones setting it. The easiest way not to build superintelligence is for you to agree not to build it. Demanding your preferred regulatory framework as the price of that will look like blackmail of the public and the political system. So just do it. If you do, you’ll buy goodwill for the next conversation. If you don’t, we’ll know this was just another bid for regulatory capture — or an election-season psyop.

The UK’s largest investment platform, Hargreaves Lansdown (HL), will open crypto ETN trading to its approximately 2 million investors from September 3, initially offering 9 BTC and ETH ETNs issued by BlackRock’s iShares, WisdomTree, 21Shares, Invesco, CoinShares and Bitwise, with annual fees ranging from 0% to 0.35%. HL had previously been the only major UK investment platform yet to offer crypto ETNs and said last October that “BTC is not an asset class.” The products will be available to users of its Advanced Investing service, with investors required to pass an appropriateness assessment and observe a 24-hour cooling-off period when making their first trade.
