So sad to learn that a giant of broadcasting, David Willey OBE, has died in Italy at 93. As well as so much else, he reported on 4 popes as Vatican Correspondent for the BBC, and shook hands with his 5th pope last May! Even then, his analysis was as incisive and as real as ever.
