We all have to fight back against fascism. This is a test case and it couldn’t be more important we stop this and bring him home.
Mahmoud’s rights are our rights. If they can illegally abduct him and shred his legal rights, they will never stop. Anyone this lawless administration disagrees with can be targeted.

Free Mahmoud Khalil. This is straight out of the fascist playbook. Criminalizing dissent is an assault on our First Amendment and freedom of speech. Revoking someone’s green card for expressing their political opinion is illegal. Protesting genocide is not a crime.
A U.S. greencard holder of Palestinian origin, active in Columbia's student encampment, was arrested by ICE yesterday from his home, separated from his 8-month pregnant wife, told his greencard would be revoked, and taken into custody.

Latest updates from Besieged north Gaza please amplify :
It’s been 31 days of besieging the north. Israeli forces have destroyed most of the buildings, wiped out entire bloodlines that were sheltering together, burned schools, shut down hospitals, and killed an average of 100 people each day. They have arrested and killed many medical personnel and forced all ambulances out of service. Whoever is injured finds no treatment and bleeds to death. Israeli forces also continue to target and threaten the team of journalists covering the atrocities in the north.
It’s an annihilation, ethnic cleansing, and genocide happening in front of our eyes.

We, America, are responsible for this. It’s horrific and heartbreaking. What’s worse is that most American politicians and journalists don’t even seem to care.

At the end of the day, we are all Americans. Sure, we have differences on policy. One side wants to give everyone healthcare and good wages. The other wants to create a white Christian ethnostate where the president can legally assassinate anyone at will. But we are not enemies.

Millions of us have been calling for a ceasefire to stop the loss of life and prevent a wider conflict.
Political leaders have chosen to ignore us — and their failure to facilitate de-escalation has endangered everyone.
The world is in a truly perilous state. It’s time to listen to the voices of ordinary people across the globe desperate for peace.
We must keep speaking out for a permanent ceasefire, for the equal application of international law, and for the only route out of this cycle of violence: an end to the occupation of Palestine.

1/ I’m an Israeli academic. My community is too silent about the ongoing war in Gaza. Here is how I see things based on reading hundreds of articles and watching thousands of videos and images about the war. This tweet chain contains my conclusions as a sort of executive summary.
How on earth does Mel Kiper Jr. have the #puntgod Matt Araiza, the greatest college punter of all time, ranked 4th among punters on his big board??? @edsbs @gmwait @MelKiperESPN. Should be 4th overall imo.
Replying to @billbarnwell
exactly. So I prefer to put more value on the person who swims the faster top speed. Or runs the faster top speed.
Replying to @CEs_Mustache @billbarnwell
in running they take so long to hit top speed that a 50m race is mostly about who hits top speed 1st
