I think we competed, and competed well enough. But when it’s 2-2 in the 80th, with Barça on the front foot and PSG without a lot of their main players, losing the game from there is inexcusable. Of course the circumstances were unideal. Raphinha not fit for 90, Rodri not fit to start, no Eric or Kounde, Martin iffy. But PSG had more than enough of their own issues to balance it out. Ultimately, it clearly felt like one team had more belief in their own capacities to get the job done. And that was by far the biggest difference between the two for me.

What can I even say about needing actual defenders? How we haven’t invested in the backline is beyond me. It’s like the most obvious thing in football.

You can’t let a game like this slip at 2-2, with ALL the momentum on your side. Just not enough steel.

With the amount of chances we created that half, we’d usually score at least two goals. This side does not have an efficiency problems. Just felt we tensed up every time we found ourselves in a great position.

No one does this to PSG in a neutral game-state btw.

No one else has confirmed or denied the report that Rodri won’t start tonight. Let’s see the validity of it. If he’s not 100%, definitely don’t risk it. Same for anyone else.
