As you may know or not know the Sides Motorsports truck caught on fire at the Cedar Lake Speedway Friday afternoon after being there for over an hour and a half, car unloaded and getting ready for the nights race event . Shortly, after unloading a part time crew member, Ashley , spotted smoke coming out from under the Sides truck. We ran up there to take a look and seen fire on top of the air tank, which is directly under the cab of the truck. We rushed to get fire extinguishers to get it put out using up several teams fire extinguishers after finally getting it put out come to realize that it had burned through all of the airlines, all of the fuel lines, and one of the main wiring harnesses after talking with a local man he suggested calling Dean with Blaine Brothers. Dean was amazing. He asked about what it was gonna take to fix it. I explained to him what all it burned sent pictures and he sent Micheal out with a service truck and most everything to fix it for the night. He got all the fuel lines repaired. A lot of the airlines repaired. We fired the truck up that night and made sure it ran. Micheal then returned the next morning and brought several more air fittings in which to fix the remaining air lines on the truck.
