Kimberly Guilfoyle, the U.S. ambassador to Greece, has faced scrutiny over remarks she allegedly made during a private dinner in Athens in March 2026.
The discussion at the dinner, attended by Greek and U.S. officials, turned to the collapse of the Romanian government. A person who attended the dinner and others briefed on the exchange said Guilfoyle remarked:
“We can do that to any country we want. We can do that here.”
The comment reportedly led to a tense exchange with Greece’s energy minister Stavros Papastavrou, who responded that the U.S. could not replace Greece’s government, which was elected by voters.

I think what a lot of Atlanta doesn't realize is how rail would alleviate in-town traffic. More/better public transport means less time waiting to merge onto the interstate. Less time sitting at stop lights. Easier in town left turns.
This is money spent toward quality of life.
What's hilarious is... what Third Way endorsement ever shaped a race? These people think it's self-evident that Hasan's views are toxic, but they're the mainstream views of younger Democrats. Shining a spotlight on Hasan only exposes how out of touch they are.
Mainstream media is making a mistake in allowing Hasan to say plainly correct things on their platforms. It's only going to highlight how out of touch they are with anyone who doesn't simply take mainstream narratives at face value. It will be a pill moment for a lot of people.
