As a general rule, biopsy of heavily irradiated tissue can lead to serious complications.
In my practice, a solid # of serious HN bleeds and/or soft tissue necrosis have been preceded by biopsy.
Biopsy may be necessary, but prob of dz & associated risk need to be discussed.

Mis conclusiones: En casos favorables (V20 bajo, no fumador, no comorbilidad cardio-respiratoria importante), escalar a 55-60Gy. Estándar: 50Gy.
