🎓 Lead a hands-on tutorial at IGARSS 2027. Tutorial proposals are now open.
IGARSS tutorials are where researchers discover new methods, tools, or ways of thinking - and where instructors meet students from all around the world in a single afternoon.
If you have expertise the community would benefit from, we want your proposal.
Tutorials that land well tend to:
🔹 Take one method or toolkit and go deep, rather than dip into many
🔹 Build in hands-on work, not just theory
🔹 Serve both newcomers and experienced researchers
📅 Proposals open: 29 September 2026
📅 Proposal deadline: 3 November 2026
📅 Results announced: 3 December 2026

📢 Have a session idea that belongs at IGARSS 2027? The floor is yours.
Community Contributed Theme proposals for IGARSS 2027 open today. We invite the community to shape the technical program - by proposing the topics, debates, and emerging areas that deserve dedicated space in Reykjavik.
If there is a conversation your field needs to have, this is where you start it.
What a strong proposal does:
🔹 Brings together a topic that is moving fast and needs focused discussion
🔹 Draws contributors from more than one group, country, or discipline
🔹 Gives early-career researchers a visible platform
🔹 Secret sauce: shapes what thousands of attendees will be talking about
📅 Proposals open: 15 September 2026
📅 Proposal deadline: 15 October 2026
📅 Results announced: 3 November 2026
What theme is missing from our agenda right now?
👉 Share this with your research community and start drafting.
