The @blurofficial documentary was lovely; a very sweet, funny, somewhat low-key film about getting older, about growing apart and a wry look at the motivations, the joys and angst, of getting back in the boat in middle age. So much that I liked about it….

My debut album, Mirror Skies, is now available to preorder. I’d be delighted if you did. Lofi, home-recorded, dreamy indie rock/pop. I’ve done a very limited run of (20) CDs that’ll set you back a fiver (plus post) goodbyewudaokou.bandcamp.com…

I’m not using this account as much as I used to, but I’m over at @assistant_help still talking about indie music, fwiw. Relatedly, my band have just released a Double CD on subjangle so I guess I’m a rock star now.? You can buy it here if you wish to: assistant.bandcamp.com/album… – at Hove, England

Our LP will be up and available for purchase on Sunday. And I'm scrambling to finish the fanzine at the same time. Exciting times. Here's a quick glance at a (first draft of a) review which'll go in the zine - on The Church's ace new LP, Eros Zeta & The Perfumed Guitars

I jumped out of bed early this morning thinking I might be able to watch the Microdisney documentary before the kids woke up! Obviously I managed 5 mins before a toddler appeared and our two hour long Old McDonald Had A Farm dance party began.

Sometimes I get very bored of singing Old McDonald Had A Farm for my 1.5yr old, so I have taken to versioning songs that I like so they’re farmyard-based, which she is reasonably content with. Here is Killing Of A Flash Boy by @suedeHQ (via chatgpt)
