Two pop-up super PACs that spent big in Illinois Democratic primaries, Elect Chicago Women and Affordable Chicago Now, just filed termination paperwork with the FEC, and transferred all of their remaining funds back to the United Democracy Project.
Somehow I missed this.

I'm rewatching the Chernobyl miniseries after reading the stunning Midnight in Chernobyl. I realize now much of it is fiction or at least dramatized reality. But this watch is even better than the first, now that I know more. The series shows how fiction can make truth more real.

Goodness gracious. Our wedding was in 2010. In Rhinebeck, New York. No taxpayer funds courtesy of President Obama or anyone. I’m sure 2014 in every season was beautiful in the Rose Garden!
Chelsea Clinton was allowed to use the White House's Rose Garden for her wedding in 2014, courtesy of former President Barack Obama.
The event ended up costing the taxpayer $1.7 million, which the Clintons were supposed to track and pay.
According to last year's DOGE report, they never did, and now a federal judge has made it obligatory.
Clinton will pay the original amount plus 12 years of compounded interest at market rates.
And the left said DOGE didn't find any fraud.
What's your response to this......??👀
MAKE THIS GO VIRAL ON X. LET’S GO 👏

Chelsea Clinton's wedding took place in 2010 at Astor Courts in New York not the White House Rose Garden in 2014. No federal judge has ordered her to repay 1.7 million in taxpayer funds for it with interest and DOGE has stated it has no involvement in such claims. snopes.com/fact-check/che… x.com/DOGE/status/19…

Yesterday, the Russians carried out one of their largest attacks on Ukraine’s energy sector – more than 15 critical power generation and transmission facilities were targeted across different regions of Ukraine. Restoration work is ongoing, with all necessary services and all available resources of Ukrainian energy companies involved. I thank everyone working practically nonstop to restore power.
The most difficult situation was in Lutsk, Rivne, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Shepetivka, Slavuta, and Netishyn. Energy facilities in the Kharkiv, Kyiv, Dnipro, and other regions were also hit. The Russians have scaled up their anti-energy operation and are trying to stretch our reserves and repair capabilities as thin as possible. Between 7 p.m. yesterday and 7 a.m. today alone, more than 320 jet-powered and gasoline-powered “shaheds,” along with loitering munitions, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles, were used against our energy sector, our cities, and our communities. And although our warriors are shooting down a significant number of them, the sheer scale and unrelenting pace of Russia’s strikes, specifically against our energy sector, are unfortunately having severe consequences.
It is important that our European partners have already prepared new support packages for Ukraine. I am grateful to them for this. And it is important that everyone in America also sees what is really happening. At a time when the Russians have carried out such a massive attack on our energy sector, a decision was unfortunately made in America to completely disregard the Lindsey Graham Act, which was supposed to impose truly effective pressure on Russia to bring this war to an end. This Act could have helped enormously – and still can! But it needs to actually work, and every voice in support of it matters.
Russia is trying to cause a blackout in Ukraine – right before winter. Russia is trying to leave millions of our people without electricity and heating. Pressure is needed to stop this. A U.S. sanctions blackout, easing pressure on the aggressor, financial rewards for Putin – all of this only encourages him to keep attacking. We must not give up ground. We must keep trying to end the war. To end it, not give Putin every reason to continue it indefinitely. I thank everyone who is truly fighting for peace and helping Ukraine!
So the president is exempting Russia from the Russian sanctions law. nytimes.com/2026/10/16/us/po… via @NYTimes
The aim isn’t just to end Russia’s invasion; Ukraine is trying to build an army of Russian turncoats w the training & determination to 1 day mount an armed struggle inside Russia & help bring an end to President Vladimir Putin’s decadeslong grip on power. wsj.com/world/russian-defect…

To be clear: Some facts are neither in dispute nor unclear. Our photographer was clearly marked as Press. She was clearly beaten. These are not partisan or risible statements, but indisputable. We urge a thorough investigation and accountability.
The Prime Minister’s Office:
The facts surrounding the confrontation near Abu Falah, during which Washington Post photojournalist Heidi Levine was allegedly assaulted, remain unclear and are under investigation.
Israel unequivocally condemns violence against anyone—Jews, Arabs, Christians or journalists. Those responsible will be held accountable.
But serious questions remain. Reports indicate some 200 Arabs and far-left activists confronted approximately 40 Israeli youths. Footage shows masked individuals on both sides hurling objects, amid reports of fireworks fired at Jewish youths. Other footage appears to show Levine knocked down and immediately helped to her feet by the same unidentified individual.
The investigation must establish the facts, including who initiated the violence.
We will not allow disputed incidents to be exploited to demonize the hundreds of thousands of law-abiding Jewish residents of Judea and Samaria.
The facts must determine the conclusions. Not the headlines.
