Highway 413 is the most expensive & destructive infrastructure project in Ontario’s history. $16 to $18 billion mega-highway saving average driver 30 to 60 seconds while permanently destroying farmland, wetlands & Greenbelt our communities depend on. gpo.ca/action_campaign/stop-…

We all need to wake up to the existence of a new right wing alliance, clearly called for in the US National Security Strategy issued in December 2025, which will include the German AFD, the Rassemblement National in France, Nigel Farage’s party and those even further to the right in the UK. Their political advance will be led, supported, fuelled and financed by Trump, the TechBros, Putin, and whatever other sources can be found around the world. They are actively interfering in the Alberta referendum, and will fund whatever racist and separatist groups they can find around the world. Failure to understand this, and to fight it, will put our own democratic lives at risk.
This is very clear: The AFD supports the Russian slaughter of Ukrainian civilians, and will favor the slaughter and conquest of other Europeans too. No one can say they didn't know, or were not warned.

If I were president and I wanted to tank the dollar and get rich off it, here is exactly what I would do. I would hire a Treasury Secretary who already made $3.5 billion crashing another country's currency. I would put my guy in charge of the agency that approves bank charters. I would install a crypto czar with $200M in crypto holdings and give him an ethics waiver so nobody could challenge it. Then I would sign an executive order banning the government from ever creating a digital dollar so there was no competition. Then I would have my family launch their own private digital dollar. My family takes 75% of net profits. I would grow it to $4.6 billion in circulation and route a $2 billion Abu Dhabi sovereign fund deal through it to prove it works. Then I would get Congress to pass a law requiring every stablecoin in the country to hold short-term Treasury bills. Now every dollar of my digital currency is a forced buyer of government debt. Brookings projects $2.3 trillion in captive demand by 2030. Then I would have my OCC guy grant my family's company a federal bank charter. Now I can issue my digital dollar with federal authority. Then I would have my Treasury Secretary weaken the actual dollar. Bond buybacks that suppress yields but tank the currency. Build a $950 billion war chest for more. Let the debt hit $40 trillion. Dollar index drops to 99. Gold goes to highest point ever. Then I would kill the Corporate Transparency Act and delete the FinCEN beneficial ownership database. That was the one law that required every shell company in America to report who actually owns it. Without it, nobody can trace who is buying my stablecoin, who is routing money through it, or where the profits land. Then I would let the loop run. Weaker dollar drives demand for "stable" digital alternatives. The law I passed forces those alternatives to buy T-bills. That funds the government's debt. My family takes profit on every transaction. Foreign central banks walking away from Treasuries get replaced by legally mandated stablecoin reserves my family controls. Then I would use sanctions to start cutting countries off from the dollar system entirely. And when those countries need a new way to transact in dollars, the only federally chartered private digital dollar in existence is mine. They can buy it through shell companies nobody can trace because I deleted the ownership database. I just built a toll booth on the global financial system. I take a cut every time someone uses the dollar. And I made it so nobody can see who is paying. And every single step I just described has already happened. So what does that mean for you and I? The reason the United States can borrow at low rates and keep your mortgage and your car payment and your import prices stable is because foreign central banks hold trillions in dollar reserves. That system has always been public. The benefit went to everyone. Lower borrowing costs, cheaper goods , and the single biggest economic advantage any country has ever had. What I just described is the privatization of that function. The entity buying the debt is no longer a central bank acting in the public interest. It is a private company taking 75% of net profits for one family. The reserve function used to generate a public benefit. Now it generates a private fee. Your purchasing power shrinks every time the dollar weakens. Your 401k buys less in real terms. Everything you import costs more. And every time the dollar drops, demand for the private digital alternative goes up. The one the president's family owns. The one that by law must buy government debt. You absorb the cost of a weakening dollar. His family collects the profit. That is the trade. The enforcement mechanism to stop a sitting president from doing this? There isn't one. Former White House ethics lawyer Richard Painter says it would be a violation for literally any other federal employee, but not the president. Nobody voted for this. No one was asked. There was no debate. There is no enforcement mechanism. There is no one investigating it. The Senate tried and it was blocked. This is the largest conflict of interest in American history happening in broad daylight while everyone argues about something else. So what do you do? Share this. Make it impossible to ignore. Send it to your representative, your senator, every journalist you follow. We make them answer for it. Because the only thing protecting this scheme right now is the fact that not enough people understand it yet.

Trump understands the benefit of OPM. Other People's Money. He and his family are stealing it as fast as they can. He hands it out to his friends for bribes. He prints it as fast as he can. He will never have to pay it back and it benefits him. That is the Trump economy. Period.

Richard, that doesn't compare to this: - CEO of Staples (John Lederer) donated to Doug Ford campaign and Ontario PC Party - Lederer was an executive with Loblaws for 30 years, and on the board of Maple Leaf Foods - both major clients for the Ford Family DECO Labels business

No president in American history has sold his foreign policy this openly.  Days before Trump took office, a company controlled by the United Arab Emirates national security adviser paid $500,000,000 for a 49% stake in the Trump family crypto venture, World Liberty Financial. Trump’s own financial disclosure released last month shows he personally pocketed $263,000,000 from that sale. It was one of the largest single chunks of his income for the year. Now the payoff. Last week Trump’s Commerce Department reclassified the UAE so its main AI company, controlled by the same royal who bought into his crypto firm, can freely buy the most advanced American chips. It moved the UAE out of a group that included China and into the group with our closest allies. Industry analysts say the access is worth billions. A foreign government put a quarter of a billion dollars in the President’s pocket. Then that same government got a favor from his administration worth billions. National security experts have already raised concerns about those chips being diverted to China. Presidents used to put their assets in a blind trust so nobody could ever ask this question. Trump kept his and cashed the check. Either we will end the corruption, or the corruption will be the end of us. wsj.com/world/middle-east/ua…

The Toronto Port Authority is holding their AGM on June 11th. I read their Financial Statements - and they raise big red flags about their hasty support of Doug Ford’s plan to bring jets to Billy Bishop Airport: 1) Ridership is down at Billy Bishop 2) Billy Bishop is relying on higher operating fees to prop up revenue 3) Based on current revenue, they’d have to forego any profit for between 80-300 years to pay for the expansion 4) Based on their 2017 Environmental Assessment, the decision was made against introducing jets, and those conditions have gotten worse - not better Here’s my letter to the Toronto Port Authority. The public deserves answers to the following questions:

Ford and Lecce are metaphorically the two of the 3 insiders in a trenchcoat selling out everything the people of #Ontario own
I just saw these posts on Threads: a huge AI datafactory is in the process of being bult in Vaughn with no imput or approval by the local residents, and there's plans for one to be built in Hamilton. Both are in heavily populated residential areas in Ontario cities. @fordnation

Doug Ford is responsible for nearly 40% of Ontario’s $500B debt
🚨Trump is now single handedly responsible for 27.7% of the national debt. This is dramatically more than any President in American history.

Time to clean house
Del Duca was leader of the wrong party. Tom Allison was his campaign manager. Tom Allison was the campaign manger for Bonnie Crombie. Tom Allison and his tricksters showed up at SSW to "save the party" and triggered the biggest political scandal reverberating across Canada. 34 extra ballots than recorded voters. Returning officer mysteriously lost paper records. Amazon order slips as proof of residence. Extra ordinary number of voters "just lost" their driver's licenses. Extra ordinary number of voters "just moved" and unable to tell their address without reading the documents. Tom Allison and his class of consultants has literally owned and run the OLP for the past 10 years. Any wonder OLP got wiped out in 3 elections?

Ontario has spent nearly $500M on advertising since 2018, enough to have doubled the number of MRIs in the province.
Full-page ads in the Toronto Star. Great to see the PCs spending money on what matters. Another sign of a government that has lost its way.

From appeals courts up, the rule of law has been disposed of by courts & DoJ. Trump appointees toss out lower court rulings, the #SinisterSixSupremeJustices ..."In 21 consecutive shadow docket cases, 6 conservative justices let Trump opt out of the law, with no explanation given"
Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson didn't invoke Weimar Germany as a rhetorical flourish. She cited a specific scholar by name in a footnote: Ernst Fraenkel, a Jewish labor lawyer who observed the Nazi legal system from the inside, smuggled his manuscript out of Berlin in 1938, and published "The Dual State" at the University of Chicago in 1941. Fraenkel's framework is precise. The Nazis didn't immediately collapse Germany's legal system. They left courts functioning - particularly in contracts and economic matters - while placing Jews and political enemies in a separate lawless zone where no legal protection applied. Most Germans lived in the law-bound "normative state." The targeted lived in the "prerogative state." The facade of normalcy was the mechanism of control. Jackson invoked Fraenkel to name what the court's Republican majority is doing in real time. In 21 consecutive shadow docket cases, the six conservative justices have let Trump opt out of the law - often with no explanation given at all. They blessed ICE racial profiling without citing a single legal justification. They allowed Trump to ignore $4 billion in congressionally appropriated foreign aid. They stripped lower courts of the ability to issue universal relief, meaning only those with resources to file individual lawsuits get protection from illegal presidential action. Constitutional law professor Evan Bernick put it plainly: "The court is adjusting the law to make place for arbitrary power." Jackson's dissent is not hyperbole. A footnote citing a 1941 manuscript about Nazi legal architecture is a Supreme Court justice blowing the cover on what her colleagues are building.

Corruption at the highest level
I am a Web3 Ambassador at World Liberty Financial. There are 12 of us on the team page. 4 are named Trump. 3 are named Witkoff. The page calls us "the passionate minds shaping the future of finance." 600,000 wallets bought our memecoin. They lost $3.87 billion. The family collected $350 million in trading fees. It launched 3 days before the inauguration. 80% of the supply went to CIC Digital LLC and Fight Fight Fight LLC. I did not choose the names. I designed the allocation, the vesting, the timing, and the distance between the product and the President. The distance is my best work. I am the reason these events are unrelated. World Liberty Financial sends 75 cents of every dollar to DT Marks DEFI LLC. That is the family entity. Zero capital contributed. Zero liability assumed. I wrote this into the Gold Paper. Page 14. The lawyers bound it in white leather. The binding cost more than the due diligence. Justin Sun invested $75 million. He was facing SEC fraud charges. The SEC dropped the case. He is now our advisor. These events are unrelated. Changpeng Zhao pleaded guilty to federal money laundering violations. He received a presidential pardon. The SEC dropped its lawsuit against his exchange the same week we listed our stablecoin. Then the exchange settled a $2 billion deal entirely in that stablecoin. These events are unrelated. Arthur Hayes, Benjamin Delo, and Samuel Reed of BitMEX pleaded guilty to Bank Secrecy Act violations. All 3 received presidential pardons. Then the company itself was pardoned. $100 million in fines. Gone. An American first. These events are unrelated. Sheikh Tahnoun of Abu Dhabi paid $500 million for a 49% stake that was never publicly disclosed. Then the administration approved semiconductor exports to his companies over national security objections. These events are unrelated. Everything is unrelated. I track the unrelatedness on a dashboard I built. The dashboard has 7 columns now. I am proud of the dashboard. On May 22nd, 220 people paid a combined $148 million to eat dinner with the America First president. Over half were foreign nationals. Justin Sun paid $18.5 million for the first seat. He visited the Executive Office Building the day before. I designed the seating chart. I put it on the Investor Confidence page. That page is doing well. The team page lists 3 Witkoffs. All 3 are Co-Founders. Steven Witkoff is the President's Middle East envoy. He testified as a character witness at the President's fraud trial. His son Zach runs the crypto operation. His son Alex is also a Co-Founder. I have not been told what Alex co-founded. The father runs the diplomacy. The sons run the platform. The family runs both. That is organizational efficiency. Barron is 19. His title is Web3 Ambassador. The same as mine. Donald Jr. called the conflicts of interest "complete nonsense." Eric launched a Bitcoin mining company called American Bitcoin. America First. The mining partner is Hut 8. Hut 8 was founded in Canada. America First means the name. On March 6th, the President signed Executive Order 14233 creating a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve. The order directs the government to hold Bitcoin. The President's family holds billions in Bitcoin. The executive order appreciates the President's assets by presidential decree. I did not write the executive order. I made sure it looked unrelated to the portfolio. Trump Media put $2 billion of Bitcoin on its balance sheet. The ticker symbol is DJT. His initials. The press secretary said it is absurd to insinuate the President profits off the presidency. Forbes calculated his crypto holdings exceed the combined value of Mar-a-Lago and Trump Tower. I would call that absurd too. That is my job. 600,000 wallets bought in. 1 of them asked why she could not withdraw her funds. I told her the protocol was experiencing dynamic market conditions. She asked what that meant. I sent her the Gold Paper. She said she had read the Gold Paper. I muted her channel. Dynamic means the conditions change. The condition that changed was her access. A congressman called us the world's most corrupt crypto startup operation. We put it on a coffee mug. Ironic merchandise. $45. The revenue split on the mug is also 75/25. My own tokens vest on a different schedule. I wrote that schedule. That is not in the Gold Paper. The memecoin funds the family. The family funds the platform. The platform funds the stablecoin. The stablecoin funds the deals. The deals require the pardons. The pardons free the partners. The partners fund the platform. The President signs the executive orders. The executive orders inflate the assets. The assets fund the family. I am the reason these events are unrelated.

Timothy Snyder is a Yale historian who has spent his career studying authoritarianism in Eastern Europe. The framing he's amplifying from emptywheel is precise and documented: this is a transnational effort, funded by Russian oil, to replace Western liberalism with a pro-Russian ideology posing as restoration. The money trail is specific. Hungary's Mathias Corvinus Collegium - Orbán's "pet university" - received a $1.7 billion endowment in 2020: 10 percent stakes in Hungary's largest energy company and largest pharmaceutical company, plus $462 million in cash. That endowment is funded in significant part by Russian oil revenues flowing through state energy contracts. MCC then funds a sprawling network of think tanks, fellowships, publications, and summits pushing the same ideological program across Europe and into the United States. Heritage Foundation signed a "landmark cooperation agreement" with Orbán's Danube Institute. Heritage's president Kevin Roberts has praised Orbán's movement for fighting for "Truth, for tradition, for families." Gladden Pappin - Harvard-trained, Catholic, now running a Hungarian state foreign policy institute - sits in bilateral meetings on the Hungarian side when American officials visit. He was in Vance's study at the Naval Observatory for drinks with Orbán last fall. If Magyar wins Sunday he has pledged to defund MCC, recover its state assets, and end the use of public money to build political networks. That is why Vance flew to Budapest. That is why Trump endorsed Orbán twice by video. That is why the pipeline near Serbia produced two backpacks of explosives a week before the vote. The Sunday election is not about Hungary. It is about whether the money laundering vehicle for this network survives.
“This is a trans-national effort, funded by Russian oil, to replace Western liberalism with a pro-Russian ideology posing as restoration. Orbán is not just the puppet that gives this packaged ideology a European face, but he oversees the money laundering vehicles to fund the larger network.” emptywheel.net/2026/04/07/pu…

Doug Ford is a mattress salesman, waving accessories in front of your face, hoping that you won’t notice the box spring is being held together by thumbtacks. Doug Ford has utterly wasted an extraordinary mandate theglobeandmail.com/opinion/…
