1/ Last week, I emailed our @ccef staff with a quote from one of Powlison's lectures from TSP. A good reminder for us all today...

7/ A quality that I love about @ccef and the people who work there is a tireless dedication to finding the good, appreciating nuance, and dedicating our time and energy to helping the saint, sufferer, and sinner.
8/ If you're curious about what our vision of counseling looks like, @GunnerGundersen, myself, and our faculty recently did a 7-series podcast on @ccef's distinctives. I commend it to you-

5/ As @ccef approaches it's national conference next week, I'm looking forward to gathering and learning from men and women like Ed Welch, Steve Midgley, @BradHambrick, @NancyGuth3, @DarbyStrickland, Blair Linne, and more.
6/ @CCEF was founded in 1968...and at our 50 year anniversary in 2018, David said that his hopes for CCEF was that "We aim to keep pressing the growing edge of wisdom." I am grateful for the opportunity to do that work alongside my colleagues at CCEF.

Our January 2025–May 2026 Annual Report is now available! Read it online at ccef.org/report.
"I truly believe our best years are ahead of us. I don’t say that because I undervalue CCEF’s rich history or the countless ways God has used this ministry over the decades. Rather, I say it because our confidence has never rested in our own strength. It rests in the God 'who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think' (Ephesians 3:20). Thank you for standing with us. Thank you for praying, giving, and believing in the work God is doing through CCEF. Would you continue to pray with us in the months ahead—for wisdom, faithful provision, and steadfast dependence on the Lord as we pursue the mission he has given us?"
—Jonathan Holmes, CCEF Executive Director

For clarity, I am not retiring from being a pastor or professor.
This image, with 15 years of service on my blog, is retiring.
This was a playful way to announce my new website design.

Thankful to be with my friend @JordanStoryline to guest lecture in the bc program! The next generation of BCers like Jordan truly encourage me...
Good hangs with the wise and gracious @jonathanholmes, executive director at @ccef.
I trust that Holmes's charitable spirit and his biblical counseling insights will be a blessing to my @GatewaySeminary counseling students. Thank you for the lecture and interview, Jonathan!
