Definitely not a "sexy" finished project post. But I felt I should post something related to some of what I'm up to. This is part of a hanging shelf system to hang off the side of a bookcase.
Whoever thought it was a good idea to require an internet connection to operate software was an idiot living in a fantasy world. So much for getting any work at home done. No internet for at least a week. Thanks, @CenturyLink.
Finished this 1/000 scale Discovery Enterprise model a few months ago. Built mostly box-stock. Painted to my own tastes. There's a subtle matte and gloss 'aztec' pattern in addition to the Polar Lights decal set.
I printed a bridge module I found on Thingiverse. Painted as it appeared on Discovery, so yeah, dark. Not sure why I didn't paint it in the same pseudo-tribute color scheme like I did for the rest of the ship...

Did a quick build for a model contest a few months ago. The Red Baron kit was built box stock with a 3D printed driver, smoke and flames effects that I sculpted in ZBrush. Snoopy was found and I modified his expression and added the smoke trail.
Didn't want to buy a new mower wheel, so I designed my own. While I was at it, decided to make them look like 60s Halibrand racing wheels. Just a test print. Need to make some adjustments and test print the tires as well. #3Dprinting #3dmodeling #whynot
