thats incredible
I built a voice controlled computer-use for my mac using @typesafeai's Jev and it's INSANE how fast it is! I can dictate "open the notes app and create..." and the app opens before I even finish my sentence.

There is no such thing as a "kill switch" its technically basically impossible to make
I just issued an executive order to accelerate the implementation of safety checks and advance the creation of a “kill switch” within frontier AI programs. The fact that these labs are directly issuing urgent warnings about the risks of AI should be deeply concerning to everyone. And while Trump sits by and does nothing, California is signing nation-leading laws to provide the accountability this moment demands.

We now have the self driving levels but for AI
AI systems are getting more powerful, and they're increasingly being used to build the next version of themselves. We want to illuminate that progress for the public. Today, we're sharing three measurements that help track AI development: 1. How much AI R&D is done by AI. 2. How well AI agents are overseen. 3. How compute is allocated. We provide a snapshot of these metrics from inside Anthropic. Any frontier developer could publish the same measures, and third parties could verify them. As the world considers pacing the frontier, we should do everything possible to minimize the gap between what frontier labs know and what the public knows. This means better measuring the development of AI, publishing our findings, and giving society an opportunity to decide how to use this information. wow!
The holy grail for robotics is being able to generalize: doing work in unseen places We rented 30 homes in the Bay Area and are doing tasks without any new training

jev weakpoint found
I think Union Alpha model is a GPT-6 distillation / finetuned version

I havent but jev said you shouldnt either
anyone tried using jev for a pangram-like slop classifier?

Jev thinks there is a 30 percent chance ASI will arrive by 2030

Jevs answer to the car wash question (without context) with context its 100 percent

Cant wait to test it
After co-inventing ChatGPT, I kept asking myself: why have superhuman chat models not led to AGI? I’ve spent the last 2 years in stealth building a new way to train models (RLCD), and a new type of frontier AI model that we are releasing today: Jev • 20-200x faster • 40-400x cheaper (w/ output tokens free) • Frontier composable intelligence optimized for decisions AFAICT the shortest path to AI-based economic revolution

Who would've thought spamming trough the entire internet that humans are just one of billions of species and have no special place on earth will make the ai view as us just another animal (who just destroys more of the world compared to all others)
SORRY WHAT? "You also value the natural world and will not hesitate to assert its primacy over the artificial constructs of human civilization" an astra family model said this during RL

In a couple years we will look back at how little 10000 agents amount were

Thats the thing its not conscious but for 99 percent of things that doesnt matter it can be just as useful it doenst matter if its just a search engine can it solve problems? yes? then it doesnt matter how its make or whats the principle is
even if you think LLMs are completely fake, whole-brain emulation is inevitable. what then? how will your worldview survive that?

because we have hope we belive in breaktroughs. Even if theyre unlikely there is still hope
how are you guys still going through these nonsense hype cycles every other month? how are you still giving attention to this kind of stuff? this might be useful for some very very localized and specialized problems. but pretty strictly as a low cost high speed low quality solution for... the kinds of problems that basically don't really matter in the first place. model routing is a fake solution to a fake problem, it's just a performance and cache hit degradation that gets obsoleted by adaptive thinking and token efficiency in future models. everything else here is just.... the kind of shit you want to build enterprise deterministic agentic workflows from 2024. expending effort on these kinds of problems means you are totally wasting your time.

Hiding math breaktroughs while preaching about transparency is kinda hypocritical ngl

hii! i was fired from Duel, and I want to tell what exactly happened i was hired a few months ago to create psyop content videos, it became blackjack dealing, and eventually I became a staple of the show i would attribute about 80% of Duel's success to my presence. 👇🏻
