join us for dinner!
pov, you started hosting private dinners in SF. The catch: I cook everything myself. So far, the table has included people who: ∙ Bootstrapped companies from $0 to $10M+ ∙ Built YC startups from scratch ∙ Investors actively looking to invest Small table. Good food. Interesting people.' Last weeks dinner included @creativelyange @zealcaiden, Marco, and Jay from @OpenAI Want a seat at the next one by Inflect? ↓

If you're still in SF after @TechCrunch Disrupt, coffee's on me! ☕️ We're taking over a café in Dogpatch this Friday with @lifegetsdicey @jrmyyee With TechCrunch Disrupt wrapping up and Open Source AI Week kicking off, we figured it'd be a good excuse to bring together founders, engineers, and people building interesting things. Nothing too formal. Just good coffee, interesting conversations, and a chance to meet people outside the usual conference chaos. We're covering coffee as well! Feel free to drop by anytime, even if you're not attending either conference. RSVP in the comments 👇 P.S. If you're around SF this week, would love to say hi!

Hi X! I'm 22, living in SF, and it's SF Tech Week! A few months ago, I packed my bags and moved from Singapore to San Francisco. Random things about me: - Started my first internet business at 14. - Built a project that somehow reached 80,000+ users. - Worked for a diplomat! - I host private five-course dinners in my SF apartment! Reply or DM me. Let's be friends :)

Hi I’m Jon and I’m 22 here for SF Tech Week! At 14, I started my first internet business. At 18, I built a project that somehow got 80,000+ users. At 19, I started an enterprise AI company. At 22, I closed my first seven-figure contract. Now I’ve moved to SF! I’m building Inflect and hosting strangers for dinner in my apartment. Somehow this is all part of the plan. If you’re around for SF Tech Week, say hi 👋

Our four-month-old startup received 1,000+ AI crawler requests in a month. We haven't done anything to optimize for AI search. Let me explain. ↓

Last week “Amazonbot” started probing our website for .env files, SSH keys and cloud credentials. Then it changed its name. Applebot. Slackbot. LinkedInBot. 8 identities in total from the same source. We checked the IP against Amazon’s published crawler ranges and it wasn’t Amazon.

Today we’re introducing PostHog for AI search. Meet Tracky. See which AI platforms send visitors to your site, where they land, and which crawlers request your pages. A closer look 🧵

hosting a tiny b2b growth dinner / hang in sf this week. 10 founders + cracked marketers in one room, each sharing one thing that’s actually working right now. no panels. no pitches. just playbooks worth stealing.

we installed a script to track all the AI traffic hitting our site last month. the results were pretty surprising. ~1.4k verified requests from AI crawlers + agents. Claude alone was ~40%. but it also made something else pretty obvious: if you're a small startup, prompt tracking alone doesn't tell you much. “best AI note taker” is probably going to show Granola or Notion long before it shows you. that doesn't mean you shouldn't optimize for AI search. you just also need to know which AI systems are actually finding your site, what they're reading, and whether they're sending anyone back. we built Tracky by @joininflect to see that.

We’re releasing our internal AI search tracker to the public. Our team keeps track of: ∙ ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity updates ∙ New AI crawlers and changes in crawler behavior ∙ AI search ranking and citation studies ∙ AEO and GEO tactics that are actually working ∙ New tools and product launches ∙ Important research and industry shifts Keeping up with all of this takes hours every week. So we turned our internal feed into Keep Up With Search, a free Slack integration that sends the most important AI search updates directly to your channel every 24 hours. Connect Slack once. We do the filtering from there. Comment “SLACK” and I’ll send you the free install link.

I’ve been living in the Bay Area for a month now, and I want to meet more people here! I’ve never had a particularly conventional path. At 14, I turned a hobby into my first business and made my first six figures. At 17, I started a startup. We grew to 80,000+ users in six months with essentially zero CAC, alongside a 55K+ Twitter community and 12K-person Discord. It eventually failed, but I learned an absurd amount from it. At 18, I moved overseas and worked as Chief of Staff to a diplomat. I got exposure to everything from aviation and government to AI and even drones. At 19, I took a gap from high school, co-founded another company, and dove into enterprise sales, leading GTM and setting meetings with major financial institutions like BlackRock and government agencies. At 21, I finally “officially” graduated high school with a perfect GPA and scholarship offers. I decided not to go to university. At 22, I started Inflect, raised our first round, and relocated to San Francisco. Now that I’m here, I want to meet more people who’ve taken similarly unconventional routes through life. People who started things too early. Dropped out. Went back. Changed industries. Failed publicly. Moved countries. Became obsessed with weird problems. Took risks that made very little sense on paper. If your life has been a little high-variance too, I’d love to meet you. Founders, engineers, researchers, investors, operators or just people building things they care about. Coffee, dinner, a walk around SF. My DMs are open. (ft. a very good slice of pizza)
