Finding a place to live in sf as a founder can be a nightmare! That's why ACCELR8 exists, come live with your people!
my crazy angel investor made me do a 48 hour no sleep entrance exam to get into his house read the quoted posts for more context lol so once I got to Mr. Miyagi's house, he said I had to earn my way into his house there were two dojos at his house the outer dojo which was in the pavement and driveway area and then there was the inner dojo that was the garage I had to pass the tests inside the outer dojo and then the inner dojo before i could go into his house at first I thought the challenge was getting into his house but honestly It was figuring out what the fuck he wanted from me considering the first thing he made me do was crush 100 cans and move boxes around then made me call my friends and made us question each other on our lives and goals for 10 minutes after that he gave me a chemical screening kit and made me do a bunch of chemical tests that I'd never done before all while degrading the fuck out of me every time I messed something up his reasoning was basically, building a company constantly drops you into problems you've never seen before nobody gives you instructions and you need to figure it out on the spot I passed the outter dojo tests and thought we were good, nope… after the outer dojo he put me into the inner dojo and things only got wilder from there first he sat me in front of a computer and made me do 100+ LeetCode problems all while I was sleep deprived as fuck and no breaks were allowed he had cameras + monitors everywhere it was genuinely scary because I had no idea when it was gonna end and what was going to happen afterwards after I finally finished the LeetCodes he gave me his old Mac and told me to take it apart so I did but then he told me to put the entire thing back together I'd never done that before but eventually I finished doing that too and then he made me pressure test my startup idea which is making hyper-realistic videos to scale ecom/saas/apps and after he liked those videos he then finally let us into his house which actually was the worst part of this whole thing I'll make another part explaining it, follow if you wanna know

if you missed the YC deadline, don’t worry you can still incorporate in Delaware, move into a hacker house in the Mission, get invited to 11 founder dinners, and somehow raise a Series A before shipping v1 game is game

one nice thing about building physical things is it energizes everyone in proximity. building out our new founder house, in an edgier neighborhood in SF, has the neighbors and surrounding business owners poking their heads in during construction, offering advice and encouragement, welcoming us. we're small fish but it feels good being part of 'SF is back'

Update: I moved to SF! This summer I'll be at the @joinaccelr8 Hacker House in Alamo Square scaling Timeslicer + Hotslicer Media Ever since starting college i've been living a double identity, part engineering student, part founder. However in the last year the businesses went from “side hustle” to having real defensibility. I scaled the agency to multi six-figures in revenue And raised $300k for Timeslicer. If I can do all that while juggling school, I believe being 100% focused for a few months will lead to the best outcomes yet. If you are in the city I would love to connect, shoot me a DM!

@JohnnyKay956910 and I randomly started demoing in a hacker hotel bar no plan, just vibes and laptops open. What hits different here is the creativity. Everyone’s building, testing ideas, shipping fast.#SanFrancisco #BuildInPublic #StartupLife #AI @joinaccelr8

Introducing EXCALIBUR -- v1.0 Excalibur is my contribution to OSS agent harnesses. It contains far superior primitives to existing options. It is highly opinionated, and will force you to think about agents in a more secure and enchanted framework.
