I like how Zen overlaps with the language of poetry. Poetry isn't therapy, but can have a cathartic component, and a spiritual side.
I wrote an essay about Zen and Chase Twichell and the director Antonioni, for @GuernicaMag. Grateful to the editors.

I had fun reading with Rae Armantrout and the Russian translator and poet Ian Probstein, at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library in downtown New York City.
Thanks to @TheIvyBookshop for hosting a reading by Hillary Gonzalez and me on Sunday afternoon. A lovely event!

Trump is now attacking the Pope for speaking out against war while posting images of himself as a messianic figure.
This is not only offensive. It is deranged, egomaniacal behavior.
When will Republicans in Congress stop blindly following this dangerous and unhinged man?
Grateful to the vibrant poetry community of Philadelphia for giving me such a great book launch last night! (Resurrection Pie, @lsupress)
Looking forward to this reading tonight at Fergie's Pub in Philadelphia!

These are the ravings of a dangerous and mentally unbalanced individual. Congress has got to act NOW. End this war.
Thanks to the Red Wheelbarrow reading series in Rutherford for inviting me to be a feature.
(And it was fun to see William Carlos Williams' old house down the block!)
Yay, @lsupress posted the video for my talk yesterday. In the second half I try to answer some thorny questions about surrealism. 🐟🚲
