Alastair Crooke, former British diplomat, on Saudi Arabia:
"Saudi is a pillar that rests on one person, one family."
What it is worth to Washington >
"the source of oil wealth for Wall Street, for the petrodollar"
"If that cannot be sustained, then what is that to Saudi Arabia ? Nothing."
His picture of the kingdom now >
> MBS "had Trump on side. This was his security"
> the cash reserves "gone on these big projects" like NEOM
> contracts and building sites not being paid
> even Gulf allies won't buy Saudi shares "except at a huge discount"
Then the line that matters:
"This is the end of a colonial structure. The colonial structure is collapsing in the Gulf."
For 50 years the petrodollar rested on one deal. Oil sold in dollars, security from Washington.
When the security goes, the deal goes with it.
Watch the Gulf.
The multipolar world is not coming. It's already here.

Roughly 66% of homebuilders surveyed in the United States say that immigration enforcement is negatively affecting their workforce. This is a sharp rise compared to the 23% that were surveyed in March and 13% from a year before.
With fewer workers available... subcontractor bids go up, project costs rise, and overall development expenses climb.... This pushes sale prices even higher for all home buyers.
It's estimated that job site labor shortages add an average of 2 months to project completion schedules.
Immigrants make up 25% to 33% of all tradespeople nationally, and over 40% to 50% in major homebuilding states like Texas, California, and Florida.
Domestic entry into skilled construction trades has been lagging for decades because of an aging workforce and a long-term decline in vocational training among people born in the US.
Training local workers takes years. Rapid disruptions like mass deportations create immediate labor vacuums that can't be filled overnight.
These delays and worker shortages reduce annual housing production by tens of thousands of units, which compounds the existing national deficit of homeowners in the US.
For context, the home ownership rates in countries like China and Russia are over 90%, but it's only 65% in the USA.
The Trump admin is terrorizing immigrants and making it even harder for young Americans to buy their first home.
How does this make America great?

According to @JohnSteppling, France's political and social tensions stem from interconnected grievances over executive power, public service provision, educational performance, opposition to the war in Ukraine, and Israeli genocide in Gaza.

NEW: 🇮🇱 🇬🇧 Palantir has just OVERRIDDEN the Mayor of London after Sadiq Khan tried to BLOCK their contract with the Met Police.
Khan dared to oppose the foreign totalitarian Zionist spytech company backed by Peter Thiel embedding itself into our police, yet Palantir somehow managed to get the high court to overrule him…
Now they can bid again for the £50M contract.
If a company like Palantir, that uses its products to literally kill and control people, can force our own politicians to back down what does that mean for society?
Palantir is set to be embedded into British Police, healthcare and defence. A total takeover. @andyburnham this is travesty.
The Diplomat, not a single closeted gay republican, not a single word on AIPAC, or Palestine. England is a noble fighter for freedom. And men are virile potent (!) and patriotic. No racism. No child trafficking.
It’s not like Zionists hide the depravity
Israeli Defense Minister Katz on Lebanon:
'60 villages destroyed. 23,000 houses demolished. 200,000 residents gone. This is the Gaza model, and this is the model we are implementing.'
Just a Minister of Defense proudly listing the villages he erased and the 200,000 people he displaced
They've stopped hiding it

🚨 BREAKING:
Boyle: "We just confirmed with the Congressional Budget Office that among the 13.7 million Americans who will lose healthcare under the bill, not a single one is an undocumented immigrant."
Netflix' The Diplomat is the most obscenely Russophobic piece of fascist propaganda Ive ever sat through. Written by Debora Cahn, late of West Wing (surprise) and arch zionist. Shocker.

He went into a North Carolina prison in 1976 and came out in 2020.
44 years. Ronnie Long was tried by an all-white jury in front of an all-white courtroom, convicted, and sentenced to two life terms.
The evidence that cleared him had been sitting in a police file the whole time.
Concord, North Carolina. He was 20, and he was accused of raping a white widow — the wife of a local textile executive.
The jury was all white. The judge ordered the jury pool assembled in a way that produced it. Long's lawyers objected and were overruled.
Here is what the state had, and did not disclose:
Forty-three fingerprints were lifted at the scene. None of them were his. The defence was not told.
A rape kit had been collected. Hair and other evidence had been gathered and sent for analysis. Reports existed. The defence was not told, and much of the material later could not be found.
The victim had initially failed to identify him, and the circumstances of the identification she eventually made were deeply questionable.
He was convicted in 1976 and spent the next four and a half decades filing. Appeal after appeal, denied. For decades, courts told him his claims were procedurally too late — which is to say, he was too slow to complain about evidence nobody had told him existed.
In August 2020 the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, sitting as a full court, vacated his conviction and described the state's conduct as an extraordinary withholding of evidence. He walked out that month, aged 64.
North Carolina's governor pardoned him. He received the state's maximum wrongful-conviction payment — which is capped at $750,000. For forty-four years.
That is about seventeen thousand dollars a year.
He had been inside longer than the lawyers who finally freed him had been alive.

A Brief Introduction to Death
In Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee there are many Gazas. Same mass killing, same scorched earth destruction, same destruction of natural resources (olive groves/buffalo) same removal of entire peoples from their ancestral homelands. Same playbook.

Yemenite Jewish children used to go out at night and mercilessly beat up dogs because Kabbalah deems them satanic and "impure". Today, Israeli children regularly burn dogs and cats during their traditional Lag BaOmer bonfires. Jewish religion is nothing like what you were taught.
On the Jewish Yemenite custom of "Yilbegu al-kilab" ("Beating the dogs")
From the 17th century onward, Yemenite Jewry was a stronghold of Jewish mysticism, deeply influenced by Kabbalah. In Kabbalistic thought, dogs are associated with demonic forces, Amalek, and impurity, a view that draws on negative portrayals of dogs in biblical and rabbinic literature but is developed much further in Kabbalah.
Thus, a known custom among Yemenite Jews in previous centuries, as part of the Chodesh HaSelichot ("Month of Repentance") rituals observed during Elul, was for children to go out into the streets at night, armed with sticks, and beat stray dogs as hard as they could.
Here's how the practice is described, rather apologetically, on the website of The Association for Society and Culture - Yemenite Jewish Heritage:
"A strange custom among Yemenite children was that, after reciting the confession prayer (Vidui) during the middle of the night watches, while it was still dark outside, they would leave the synagogue shouting "Yilbegu al-kilab" ("Beating the dogs"), each carrying a stick. It should be noted that in Yemen there were no domesticated dogs; almost all of them were strays, living wild throughout the city streets without any veterinary supervision. The boys would organize themselves into groups and, working as a team, lie in wait for packs of dogs before vigorously beating them. Surprisingly, the dogs seemed to sense this and disappeared from the streets, unlike their usual behavior. Needless to say, the adults would scold the children on the one hand, on the grounds of preventing animal cruelty, but on the other hand, they were exceedingly lenient toward them, remembering that they themselves had done the same in their childhood."

A private company wants to lease 9,000 acres of public land in Utah for a project involving 456 nuclear reactors.
The Bureau of Land Management is reviewing the application.
This has never been done before.
The company, Valar Atomics, isn't starting from zero. Utah's Trust Lands Administration already approved a separate lease for part of this same project, a square mile of state land, for up to 100 years.
Together the site would hold the reactors, a nuclear fuel production facility, and a nuclear waste storage site. All of it on land that's supposed to belong to the public.
Carbon County residents say they weren't told until it was already underway. The county has defended using non-disclosure agreements to land the deal.
A local physics professor says the valley's geography could trap the heat these reactors throw off.
The Department of Energy already used a "categorical exclusion" to approve the test reactor behind this project. No environmental assessment. No impact statement. No public comment period at all.
Valar Atomics has built and run exactly one test reactor. It powered a single computer chip. Now they want 456, built at industrial scale. The company's founder has no nuclear engineering background. Nuclear engineers have already publicly disputed the company's safety claims. And Valar hasn't even submitted a design to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, they're suing the NRC instead, over the safety rules they'd have to follow.
456 nuclear reactors don't belong next to a town that never got a vote, and it's time to make your voice heard. Petition is in the first reply.
