2/2 The only constant in four years of not beating ranked teams, of failing to hold fourth quarter leads is the head coach. Where does the buck stop?

1/2 Bill Parcells famously said “you are what your record says you are.” Matt Rhule doesn’t get paid $10 million a year to beat Maryland or Rutgers or Ohio or Bowling Green. He makes the big bucks to beat Oregon or Indiana or Iowa or USC. Maybe one of them?

If the QB scrambling is most of your running game you are in trouble.

I cannot imagine two more unlikeable candidates than Pillen and Ricketts on the same ballot. @neGOP will hold their nose and vote or not show up.
Nebraska's early vote is a WARNING sign for Pete Ricketts. Registered Democrats lead in a state Trump won by 20. Nebraska Early Vote as of 10/16 🔵Democrats - 34,620 (44.8%) ⚪️Independents - 13,091 (16.9%) 🔴Republicans - 29,580 (38.3%) With the early vote: Osborn (I) +7.0

Trump sides with Putin. Where are @USRepMikeFlood and @SenatorFischer and @SenatorRicketts? Quiet and feckless.

"Tony, you're telling me that the sun rose in the East today and I've never seen anything like that," said JD Vance.
When asked by Tony Dokoupil about recent polling that indicates many voters are concerned about corruption and believe President Trump is prioritizing his own personal business interests while in office, Vice President JD Vance said, "I've never seen anything like that from the president." "Yes, D.C. is a corrupt town," Vance continued, but "I have not seen a single shred of evidence that he participates or sanctions in that corruption."

late in the first quarter, this Nebraska / Oregon game would have to improve to be horseshit

And that talking head just sits there and listens this blustering fool.
Trump: "Honestly, I could've done numbers on Hillary Clinton. I could've done numbers on Bill Clinton. I could've done numbers on Barack Hussein Obama. Still could. I still could. I could do big numbers if I wanted to. Go after them. Criminally. Destroy their reputations."

Pillen’s next original thought will be his first.
I am proud to stand with @POTUS and @VP in the fight against fraud. Today, I am joining the Vice President’s pledge to protect Americans from fraud and safeguard taxpayer dollars. Together, we will continue working to ensure taxpayer dollars do not end up in the hands of fraudsters, but instead go to the American people who need them most.

The notion that @HuskerFootball had a better chance to win going for 4th and 9 at its own 44 (w/4:47 to go) rather than punt with the wind is nonsensical. Indiana went three and out. Punted to the five yard line. #Huskers never got out of their own end again. @OWHsports

Which of our president's in history have we had to parse words like this? Context? It's something he should not have said. Period. And Nebraska MAGA should not have cheered. Period.
This isn’t a direct quote from Trump, and I very much don’t think it’s a correct paraphrase. Trump has repeatedly argued that the consequences of the war, like higher gas prices, are a small price to pay compared to what an unchecked Iran could allegedly do. Last night, in especially rambling and incomplete fashion, he 1) claimed high prices are temporary and suggested they’re “artificial”; 2) contrasted that to the damage of Iran supposedly taking out a city; 3) and then, in especially confusing style, repeated his old point that “this,” as in the consequences of the war, is a small price to pay to avoid something like a a city being wiped out. It’s Trump’s fault you kinda have to be steeped in TrumpRallySpeak to know what he was saying last night, and of course you can say it’s inappropriate regardless for the president to casually float the possibility of a city being wiped out, but the context exists and is important.

The people who cheered this should be ashamed of themselves. @NEGOP reaction? @PeteRicketts @jim_pillen - how many native Nebraskans live in Southern California?

Vance is not this stupid. Don't let him play dumb. Vote for the other guys.
Vance: "They are ruthless. They will do whatever they need to do, right up to cheating and right up to lying. And right up to putting somebody on the ballot who has no reason to be there other than to help them steal an election."
