I originally met Adam 2 years ago. His reason for wanting to launch a Primer was simple:
“I realized that I love teaching, but I hate being a teacher in the big system.”
This week he launched Primer Babcock Ranch in Southwest Florida.
The kids are so lucky to have him.
There's a new, under-the-radar federal program that will unlock billions of dollars for K-12 school choice on January 1st.
I'm hiring a leader to own this for Primer — equal parts GTM, ops, legal, marketing & BD. Reports directly to me.
Come save the next generation. DM's open.
My grandfather has our family lineage traced back to Jamestown (and then the Middle Ages in various parts of Europe).
There are a few gaps he's spent decades trying to definitively close. I'm convinced it's finally possible to close them with the latest models (+ agents). I'd like to hire someone to do precisely that.
I suspect this could become a general-purpose tool that would be quite valuable to genealogy researchers, if you so choose.
DM's open!
30 years ago my mom founded one of the first microschools in Florida.
Gov. @JebBush fought the early, contrarian battles to unlock that education for our family and millions of others.
Quite a full-circle moment to sit down and discuss the state of US K-12 together:

True.
There is a once-in-a-few-century technological, social, & political opportunity to reshape education.
Away from the factory model; towards keeping the flame of individual curiosity alive at scale.
@primer is at the center of it. And hiring.

My grandparents made decisions that altered the trajectory of the Delk family legacy forever (for the better) and today is their 65th wedding anniversary. Even better, they drove their new Tesla to church in small town SC on FSD.

Today is my Grandparent’s 65th wedding anniversary.
65 years, 3 children, 9 grandchildren, 9 (soon to be 11) great-grandchildren.
Like they do every Sunday, they arrived early to teach Sunday School at the small church my Grandfather grew up in.
So thankful.

A fitting end to a great year: opening our newest Primer in Liberty City, Miami.
Thanks to Mayor Suarez for joining us + to the Primer team for the herculean effort to get this location open.
Fired up for 2025!
