No longer can I say as a judge. Can only say as a player. 😂

As a judge cheating is always bad. As someone who plays the game and have been playing in an RQ environment, I understand why he potentially did what he did. Lots of money and clout to be had if you place well in an RQ and don’t get caught. Do top players collude and cheat? Absolutely. Do they all do that? Absolutely not. Is Koko a bad person for cheating? Maybe. Did he cheat so that he could make a guide and profit from it? Maybe. But as someone who definitely didn’t get his guide, all I’m saying is that him cheating and releasing a guide feels the same as someone’s who’s on gear and sells a program while claiming to be natty.

As a judge, this kind of behaviour is bad for the game but as a player I get it. I will say it’s bad business though. Might need to update the metafy guide though for people who got it. I tried using the Baron + Harrowing tech and it always felt like bricks in my hand. This feels like the same thing as a fake natty in the fitness world. You show us the results and give us the guide but forget to mention some very critical information that you need to essentially cheat to make the deck viable. Some people might feel cheated but honestly it is what it is. The real ones will stick by you at the end of the day.
I want to apologize to Minh, Challenger TCG and all of my supporters who defended me. I really fucked up and double down on it. I was afraid and have never been in this situation before. I didn’t want to let everyone down by telling the truth of what really happened, and on top of lying to everyone including my family and friends, I was lying to myself. I didn’t wanna believe it myself that what I was doing was cheating, as crazy as that sounds. I know what I did was wrong, and again, nothing I can say can change that I truly am sorry to everyone, especially to my opponents who I played against. I love Riftbound with everything I have and unfortunately, I really let down a lot of people. I truly am sorry.

Is it just my Riftbound group or did everyone just decide to say screw Regional Championship practice. We play Maplestory classic 😂

Wish there were more RQs locally in Canada. Could not make it as a judge in Vegas since it probably made more sense to hire locally. Congrats to those who made it in.

I would not be surprised if there’s already groups of people forming alliances to split the best ofs at Vegas. I really wonder how Riot is going to prevent this type of behaviour from happening

If I really want to touch a lady I don’t do it over Riftbound. I pick Vilemaw as my battlefield and play Charm and start a showdown 💃🕺

With so much deploy, gear hate main deck is going to be even more prevalent. Aurora catching strays.
Last thing I’ll say on Aurora for a while. It isn’t a deck that dominates tournaments. I don’t really see how it hinders design when the deck has a mid win rate and hasn’t even won an RQ. The biggest units in the game Elder & Baron aren’t even good enough to have the deck top 8 consistently. They can print better units or non unit ramp spells because Aurora isn’t a “broken” deck, and it’s probably the easiest deck in the game to counter if you really want to. The Orange decks actually winning events aren’t Aurora decks and haven’t been. It’s decks like PG Yi and Rengar. Aurora isn’t stopping people from designing decks around their legend. If anything, it gives weaker Orange legends a way to actually do well at RQs and compete for Best Of. If that’s the reason you want Aurora gone, because you want Best Of to be won without it, then I understand that argument. But a lot of Best Of legends are just worse versions of their tier one counterparts. Draven compared to Jinx, or Master Yi compared to basically any other Orange/Green legend. Another argument for banning Aurora is that it can create a bad experience for newer players at things like Nexus Night. I can understand that too, but Pack Ezreal discarding your entire hand isn’t exactly a fun experience either. Banning cards because they aren’t “fun” for the other player is a slippery slope. At this point I really don’t care if they ban Aurora or not. I just want to play Riftbound, and I’m going to keep playing it with or without the card. I obviously just enjoy playing Aurora.

Pretty sure @Prismaticismism win game 3 since Xeno missed two drop. I thought going first is OP but guess not when you have no 2 drop

Yo it’s Aionlights. Finally terrorizing people on the main stage. (He’s the strongest irelia player in Vancouver)

Friendly reminder but your rune deck is still a deck. Judges will DQ you if you improperly shuffle it. Its actually within policy and it is a thing. Stay safe out there everyone.
