Yes, the Coronation music was wonderful. Conservatives have cut arts funding by a third in the last decade. Government cuts to the BBC mean they’re losing 20% of orchestra places. Music teaching in state schools is in freefall.

Went to @E_N_O last night. Full house. Reasonably priced (by West End standards). Didn't know ENO gives out 10s of thousands of free seats to under 21s. It one of the most accessible (& non-eletist) opera companies on the planet. And it has just lost ALL of its funding.
