I was in Omaha this week, standing in a place I wish more Americans could see for themselves. Looking in one direction, I could see a mosque. Across the field was a synagogue, with a bridge connecting it to the rest of the grounds. With another turn, there was a church. Jon Kyl was a friend, a colleague and someone I greatly admired. I thought he would have made an excellent justice on the U.S. Supreme Court. In my opinion, that was a missed opportunity for America. We had a lot of laughs together. He was a really, really good man.
